Mascherano And Tevez Still On Juve’s Shopping List

The Argentinean duo are reportedly on their way to Italy in January

Despite the denials coming from the West Ham camp, it seems that Javier Mascherano and Carlos Tevez are set to end their English adventure prematurely as none of them seems to have settled down in the Premiership.

Many clubs in Europe are ready to welcome them, but their most likely destination seems to be Italy, after their Argentinean national team coach invited them to join Juventus so not to lose their form.

The Bianconeri, who are currently in Serie B, will have to fight off the challenge of fellow Italians Palermo and Spanish giants Valencia, as all three clubs are trying to bring the players in January rather than in June.

do not think the dynamic duo would go for Palermo...Valencia are a big club but always flatter to deceive...Come to Juve and make all your dreams come true

We haven't really let Secco prove himself yet so we'll just have to wait and see how talented he is at bringing in new players.. But I bet he's no Moggi when it comes to that :disagree:

It's not all about talent my friend. We have scouts to find a good new player.
But this about network, experiences, power etc...

The Tevez talks cancel any real Mascerano scenario too in my eyes,
its just a smokescreen or a journalist make up,
we are definitly NOT really interest for such a player now.

Barca bid for Tevez rejected by Kia

West Ham have rejected an approach from Barcelona for striker Carlos Tevez.

The Spanish giants contacted West Ham to ask about taking the Argentine as cover for their injured striker, Eidur Gudjohnsen.

Tevez, who has failed to score in seven appearances for West Ham since his arrival on 31 August, was apparently recommended to Barcelona manager Frank Rijkaard by Argentine winger Lionel Messi.

Tevez - along with Argentine team-mate Javier Mascherano - is owned by Iranian businessman Kia Joorabchian's former company MSI, but is still expected to move on, probably to Juventus, either in the January transfer window or at the end of the season.

Joorabchian heads a consortium attempting a takeover at Upton Park and that deal is still progressing with a deadline set for tomorrow, before Sunday's crunch clash with Arsenal.

Joorabchian was contacted about the possibility of Tevez joining Barcelona but it is understood he rejected the idea.

With bojinov del piero, and trezeguet we have enough good strikers, i prefer Iaquinta above tevez, Mascherano is a great player so he would be a better singning i think, cause nedved is also getting old ;)

I think forward line is well covered with ale trez boji and zalayeta...we need to strength our midfield options and central defence...Barzagli is more or less comfirmed now so we should now go for midfield players...Mascherano Ribery etc...

Tevez can replace Nedved because theres no chance of getting Robinho... Hes Madrids young prodigy like Ronaldinho to Barca and Kaka is to Milan.

And Ribery I think hes closer to Arsenal.

teves is surplus to requirements at the current point in time, but when you look at the future, with del piero into his 30's,trezeguet nearing his 30's,i think signing him would be great in the long term.who knows, bojinov and him might form our attack in the coming years.

Del Piero said he will play until he is 40.
