You missed my point. Every year, and all year long, we're saturated with rumors of influx for top EPL clubs but hear very little ever going the other direction. Last year it seemed that there were more players on the current Man United squad than there were players in Europe that weren't already linked to a Man United move.

My only working theory is that this has to do with a sports-reading public with a huge appetite for fantasy football fiction. People sell papers and get TV ratings in the UK it seems by primarily making shit up and giving fanboys fake dreams to masturbate to for the week.

What's shocking is that these readers and fans are duped 99% of the time, so they can only keep coming back because they are willing participants. They want someone to lie to them and give them fake dreams of future glory.

I'm surprised there isn't a UK market for shows and articles about all the supermodels who rumoredly want to shag pasty fat guys from Swindon who sit around watching the telly all day. One week it's this supermodel, next week it's another.
You sound as if you have never heard of internet porn.

Calleri to Juve for Tevez?
by Football Italia
------
Boca Juniors could offer Palermo target Jonathan Calleri to Juventus as part of their deal for Carlos Tevez.
Although Tevez has made it abundantly clear he wants a return 'home’ to Boca, Juve are also adamant they won’t let him go for free.
He has one year left to run on his contract and so far negotiations for a cash exchange have not gone well.
According to Todo Noticias, the Bianconeri may well have found the solution in the form of 21-year-old striker Calleri.
He can play as a centre-forward, a support striker or on the right side of a trident attack.

The main stumbling block is represented by Palermo, who have been in negotiations with Calleri for some time.
Their deal has not been finalised, so Juve could intercept to get Calleri and perhaps eventually loan him to the Rosanero.
The young Argentine is also a known target for Stoke City.

I've never seen him play, but @X seems to be impressed with him, so I'm in.

Ok, so maybe it isn't a good thing when the first thing you see in his highlight video is him clutching his ankle, but I digress

:D

The article mentioned us loaning him to Palermo
That is fine, as long as he is Juve property by the end of the week.

Seriously, they want to bring back their hometown boy who is on one of the best 2 year streaks for a striker not named Messi or Ronaldo?

Fine. Give us Calleri.

Last I checked it says "Juventus" on the front of their offices, not "Salvation Army".

Maybe for Vadala. -GDM
Who is Vadala.

Is that the "New Messi" kid that scored 7 goals or something like that?

or is that the player that @Badass Vidal is threatening to kill himself if we get?

Actually, now that I think about it. I'm not quite sure how I lose on either end of that one. :D

No Boca deal for Tevez yet

According to Italian reports, Juventus will meet with Boca Juniors for Carlos Tevez tomorrow after failing to agree terms.

The two clubs had negotiations today in Milan between Juve director general Beppe Marotta and Boca President Daniel Angelici.

Sky Sport Italia, Tuttosport and La Gazzetta dello Sport all suggest no deal was reached, so there will be another meeting on Wednesday.

Tevez has a contract that does not expire until June 2016 and Juve value the player at €6m.

It’s very likely that one or more players will be included as part of a exchange deal.

Options include Jonathan Calleri – also a target for Palermo and West Ham – Rodrigo Bentancur and now also 18-year-old right-sided winger Guido Vadalá.
