You guys are all overreacting when there's really nothing solid behind these rumors other than the yellow Spanish press, which is even worse than the Italian one.

That said Tevez especially has a history of pulling that kind of shit so it might happen again, despite him being a model professional while he's been at Juve.

Either way, stay or go, he's been our best player these past two seasons and was the largest factor why we are where we are now, and I'll always be grateful to him for that. My sincere hope is we'll give him a contract extension until 2017 and he can go back to Boca when he's 33. But if it doesn't happen, we are equipped to do well without him, and I'm convinced we will.

Yeah, that's my fear :D

But X seemed adamant a few weeks back that Boca do have a bit of money.
Yeah, but that will be used to pay for his wages :D

Juventus director general Giuseppe Marotta assures Andrea Pirlo has not asked to leave, but is less certain on Carlos Tevez.
The pair have been linked with a move away from Turin this summer, with Tevez wanted by Atletico Madrid and Boca Juniors.
“Tevez? It’s his choice, and we’ll respect it,” Marotta told media at Juventus Museum, as the Coppa Italia and Scudetto were added.
If this is not solid proof, then i dont know what is.

You dint read the quotes i posted above ?

Its not even speculation out of thin air from useless Italian papers, its direct quotes.Dont know how one can disregard that.
Except Marotta has been saying that for a year. Tevez will go to Boca if he wants to, this is one case where the desire of the player trumps the desire of the team, and so on. Tevez on the other hand has been saying he'll respect his contract with Juve.

How people go from that to "solid proof" that he's gone to Atletico and PSG... Boggles the mind.

If he has to go we need to use him for a swap, given his age were not going to see a substantial amount for him. He leaves with honor and head held high and I am left with very much gratitude from here. We will be opening a huge debate of who's the next #10 soon. :shifty:

Who's talking about Atletico and PSG now ? You are just skimming through the posts here.

Tevez only wants Boca.Boca's president has openly talked about it and says he wants to return and Atletico's president says they cant do anything if his 'heart beats for Boca'

Marotta could've stated it differently by saying 'we'll try to keep him' or something along those lines. But he said he'd respect Tevez' choice which sounds like he's asked to leave already.Marotta is clearly addressing the ongoing rumors here.

Di Marzio also says he could leave this yr and not the next one.But believe what you choose to believe, its up to you.

He may or he may not go, is the point. Depends on what he wants and if there is a way to be done this year (rather than waiting for next year, which is a short while). I don't know and you don't know any more than anybody else. Literally today Angelici, Boca's president, said he hasn't even started talks with Tevez.

I'm just tired of everyone jumping the gun without any shred of proof other than twitter rumors.

I wouldnt be surprised if we agree to a mutual termination of his contract tbh
No, that would be stupid. We might as well force him to stay here for another season and lose him for free.

If Boca wants him, they should pay. We are talking about one of the best strikers in the world, not a useless, unwanted and 5th choice player like Giovinco.

yeah we had to pay a fee to bring him here for a 3 year contract. to sell we need compensation or he plays the contract he agreed to. we dont owe him anything.
