I wonder if Carlos is regretting his actions towards the team/manager now? I don't mean that in a attack towards him but he must feel some regret that Argentina have the opportunity to win the World Cup now. Man, if he was in the squad right now, can you imagine how amped up he would be to play for us next season.

Where does Carlos fit into the team now, it's looking like we are going to play a 4-3-3 I don't know how he will fit into the team.

He is a SS not really a CF like Lorrente going to be interesting how Conte deploys him.

It's obvious. 4321/433 as a hybrid of LWF and SS. He'll be much closer to Llorente than Iturbe. Like Vucinic - Matri - Pepe. Tevez like to drop back deep and help with creating the play while Evra/Asa or Pogba will be shifting to the left side like they did in 352.

Juve's 352 and 433 aren't really that different to each other. We'll play more aggressive on opponent's half thanks to additional offensive player. Parking a bus won't be such a good option anymore because we won't have 3 tall and strong CBs.

Im starting to think that a 4-2-3-1 formation will be the natural switch from our 352, rather than the 433

Using Tevez behind the striker in a 4231 seems more logical than to forcing to the left our most prolific player.

What's the problem with him as a winger, near the striker? He's already played there plenty of times for United, City and Argentina. Also, it's a 4-3-3 winger, not a 4-2-3-1. Pogba and Asa will do most of the work in defence, it's not like if he has to cover all the fucking flank. Can't understand how it is a matter. He will/can drift inside a lot of times. He has the characteristics.

And wasting one of our midfield trio, making our wings play a bit further from the goal? No way.

Im really not sure about Pirlo in the middle of our midfield trio. UNless he plays a more advanced role and let vidal and Pogba covering him.

4-3-2-1 . Width is provided by rb / lb with overlapping runs . Tevez and iturbe closer to the box behind llorente instead of out wide .

Something similar to this could work well .
