cristiano is better than ronaldo.

but yeah, if we go by numbers it has to be muller.
Well, Müller was a better finisher, thats for sure.

But Ronaldo, is so insanely complete as a forward, that he is pulling off simular numbers, without beeing a bomber / poacher

Wich makes it so impressive

But still, more international goals then games played.... suck some more cock messi

He was. Nobody comes close in raw finishing compared to muller

raw finishing means absolutely nothing, theres just finishing. Besides the fact that gerd muller played in a complete different football era, theres no reliable stat to measure finishing besides goals accumulated which dont tell the whole story neither do goal ration, and muller trails in both stats anyway. So to say no one comes close and speak it as fact is beyond silly.

defenders were smaller, less agressive, and les technically, and tactically inteligent.

football tactics were simpler, training regiments were simpler...etc.

football fields were terrible, sometimes they were like swamp or desert, now look at the medicine aspect - the players needed much more time to recover from even minor injuries than now

Rus, he's right.

Football got serious late 710ties, everything before is amateurs

and even later.... think about the maradonna goal, well in the golden 90ties, the second defender would have given him a yellow card shirtpull and thats it

everything earlyer was just football developping

it's funny how people underrate football from the previous era

Rus, you just need to look at how defenders performed in those vidoes... and ull see it was MUCH easier for "geniuses" to score in those times.

Now u get chopped after the first dribbles.
