never heard of him and i doubt we'll actually buy him for 40m or more. i bet he's raw af. at least he looks strong and argies can usually pass quite well so the basics must be covered.

anyway besides interceptions these aren't the numbers of a shit player:

if he can take away minutes from miretti and mckennie in midfield then we're good.

ask turk and he'll swear cuntoli will resurrect marcelo rios or tim henman
I actually prefer watch the whole season, instead of some random YouTube clips or estimated Statistics(which is not accurate in most of time). anyway i tried to find some info about his performance and this is what turned out:

if we bought the actual guy, he would have cost less.
I don't know what is the criteria for buying players in the club policy. I'm more disappointed on the fact that we have not built a proper team and keep hiring babies to take us to the next level and failed miserably as some names come to mind like kaio jorge, pjaca, Ihattaren, Frabotta and etc that many of them mentally or physically have retired at an early age.

because buying “experience” always works out right? Shall we construct that list?

So is he a good player who can come straight to our lineup or another maybe in the future?
who knows, but clearly Giuntoli rates him. That’s good enough for me until I actually see him play.

it is not that him being a baby the problem, problem is that he is a baby that nobody knows, who could not make it in english second division but somehow tripled his worth and coming for a fee paid for likes of camavinga and vinicus junior. club are being subjected to blatant thievery in hands of its own employees and player agents. as result of it, we watch players like kostic and weah on pitch and its being covered as ''because don't have the money'' by certain people here.

Doesn't mean a thing if he's known or not.

He's known in Argentina. And he's expected to become a very good player from what I've heard. Experienced by age. And glowing remarks from Messi and others (who I assume you know). A young player with huge potential. That's the general opinion of those who know him.

This argument of yours, that this is such a horrible signing because nobody knows him is so dumb. You haven't even seen him.

And who cares what you think. It's irrelevant.

At worst, we'll lose 3m or so. I'm sure you'll be able to dry those tears with time.

There should be a clear policy towards the hiring of players in the club, you just don't buy a player only because of free agent or low price tag. It takes a couple of years at least for a coach to get the players needed to fit into his system so what's the purpose of signing unknown players? do the managers ask allegri's view before signing a player?

Time will tell.
He was also Southampton’s best player for the second half of the season last year. He just doesn’t fit with their new coach’s tiki-taka philosophy. And even then he’s started over half their matches and appeared in 26/31. But somehow he’s a failed bench player according to Turk. :lol3:

Best case scenario: this guy is the heir to Maradonas talent, we sell Chiesa to fund him and never regret it.

Realistic scenario: he stays here for 5 months, plays 5-10 games and goes back to Southampton. I dont think we realistically have the 50m available for spending if we intend to comply with our FFP obligations.

This guy is easily good enough for the 2nd division, daft comment. As someone who watches the league, basically every team would fall over themselves to have him. Also doesn't even make sense if the guy has played better in the top division. Football doesn't work like that.
