His peak period was rather short in managerial terms, and for all his "accomplishments" he only has one CL crown to go with his 8 league titles (6 in the big 5). Ancelotti has 6 League titles in the big 5 leagues as well to go with his 5 CL crowns. Moaninho is a toxic cunt who consistently throws his players under the bus, so his man management skills leave a lot to be desired.

Timing and opportunity is important. Pep built his reputation off an incredible Barcelona team and has enjoyed a luxury career. Mourinho developed teams that had no business doing what he achieved with them. Ferguson was very often the underdog in an era with multiple heavyweight teams, and could pull of some amazing wins. Ancelotti is my GOAT of club coaching too because of his ability to do it at the highest level for many years with multiple clubs - other coaches might have crumbled after that Istanbul debacle or the 4-0 routing by Deportivo, but he just kept bouncing back after every setback.

Ancelotti is my GOAT of club coaching too because of his ability to do it at the highest level for many years with multiple clubs - other coaches might have crumbled after that Istanbul debacle of the 4-0 routing by Deportivo, but he just kept bouncing back after every setback.

He crumbled with Juve as well against United 99. It took him some time to perfect maintaining a lead.
