That he is not good enough at top level. Make the same mistakes he did tonight against Barca or any other of the top 3 teams in Europe and see what happens. If a team wants to compete against the best, they can't have a player like him among the starting 11. Pure and simple. Now that's logic for ya.

yet, Chiellini is a starter for a CL Qfinalist, possibly even Sfinalist
Uh.. let's see.. dortmund 1st match, even if he didn't slips i really can't call that a "solid game"
Roma game before the second dortmund tie
Genoa serie a 2nd tie
Parma serie a 2nd tie
the rest i can't even remember
Point is he one of our leader, it's only fair if he burdened with more expectation, atleast from where i see it

Your best trait is your optimism and loyalty to juve, but you shouldn't really mock/questioned every ppl who wants to share their thoughts
But hey it's cool for me anyway:D

David Luiz kind of starter for CL Qfinalis, and maybe Sfinalist.
Hand in your heart can you truly say Luiz is one of the top player?
what you said was "When a players only real atribute is brute force he has nothing to do at top level anymore." Chiellini plays at top level for years now, so what kind of logic are you using again?
Brute force is one thing, but you really need brains to put your challanges. 3yr before he was classy player, now i bound to disagree that he still

It's cool thing to hate Chiellini now days :sergio:
He had great game bar that mistake .
I'm not hate him, just a little dissapointed in him, he should, and can play a lot better.

Chiellini isn't just brute force and no brain. he'd be playing in the Premiership otherwise.

muscle is really underrated nowadays with defenders. while I agree you can't have two Pepes as your central defenders, someone who can wrestle and dominate the opposition is really helpful. people quickly forgot what a boss this guy was a couple of years ago or so. mistakes are part of the game, look at Bonucci. from Ogbonna to world class in 3 years. and he still f*cks up sometimes. defenders are always under pressure so it's just natural that they sometimes screw up.

people just hate Chiellini for his awkwardness on the ball and that he goes into Matrix mode whenever he passes and while I agree it's not a good sight to see at Juve, he more than makes up for it in other areas.

He seriously has a problem keeping his balance. First against Dortmund, then against Parma at their goal, and now here. Hadn't really blamed him initially against Dortmund, but this is becoming a pattern.
