Giorgio Chiellini was won over by new Juventus teammate Carlos Tevez. “He works like a mule!”
The striker scored on his Serie A debut to secure a 1-0 victory away to Sampdoria on Saturday night.
“Tevez is an absolutely world class player, but what surprise me more than anything is the way he sacrifices himself to help the team,” said Chiellini.
“He works like a mule! I am happy for him, as he is starting to reap the rewards of all his hard work this summer.
“As a team we have ample room for improvement, as our legs are still not 100 per cent. Sampdoria were a difficult side to face who closed up well, so it’s good that we allowed them little or nothing in attack.”
