Ciro Ferrara has had to deal with some bad news on the eve of the Champions League match against Bayern Munich. The match on Saturday against Inter has left its toll,that is a physical problem for one of the protagonists of the season: Giorgio Chiellini.
The defender from Livorno underwent clinical tests and an ultrasound scan, which were necessary after the light distractive trauma to the right back thigh suffered during the dying minutes of the match against the nerazzurri. The tests showed a first degree distraction to the right femoral biceps which will see the defender stop for 20 days to recover.
I hope Legro is once again up to the task, he has done fairly well when called upon. But he did mostly partner Chiellini in those games, so it will be interesting to see how he copes with Canna as a partner.
