Bora who? Bora Milutinović? The guy that took 5 different National Teams to the WC, 4 of them to the second round?
Exactly, I think this guy is a coaching genius.

No, but i consider you a juventino and i know Zeman is not very fond of juventini......
He said he is a Juventino yet he is so against our drugs controversy which happened during the 1994-1998 period.

Capello snubs Azzurri option Monday 10 October, 2005

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus boss Fabio Capello has again hinted that he is not interested by the idea of coaching a national side.

Capello has achieved just about everything in the club game after winning honours with Milan, Real Madrid, Roma and now Juventus.

Some have talked about him as a possible Italian national boss in the future but that idea seemingly doesn’t appeal.

"I’m happy and proud that Italy have now qualified for the World Cup with a game to spare," said the tactician.

"However, I am certainly not jealous of my colleague Marcello Lippi or of his successes."

Capello would be a prime candidate to become the next Azzurri Coach seeing that he is widely regarded as one of the best in Europe.

The multi-Scudetto winner, who was approached by the English FA before they appointed Sven Goran Eriksson, seemingly prefers domestic football though.

Capello, who won the title with Juventus at his first attempt last term, is contracted to the Old Lady until June 2007.

Lippi’s contract with the Italian national side currently expires after next summer’s World Cup in Germany.

The Azzurri qualified for that event on Saturday night when a Cristian Zaccardo header was enough to beat Slovenia.

Italy are next in action on Wednesday when they play Moldova at Lecce’s Via Del Mare Stadium.

Extending Fabio Capello's contract with us certainly seems like a very clever move. Like Eaglesnake_1 mentioned it would give Capello the calm and serenity to do great things. The more secure a coach feels - the less pressure there is on him. And the less pressure on a coach the better.

I just love the article titles on Channel4. com 'Capello snubs Azzurri', as if they begged him to coach the NT but he just snubbed it

I'd have to say Guus Hiddink is someone I'd rate very highly when talking of the best in the world.
Buying a World Cup makes things a lot easier though.

Yes, only if you forget to take into account a semi final loss to Brazil as Dutch coach in World cup 98, a Champions League semi final loss to AC Milan in 2004, a Champions League title with PSV Eindhoven in 1988, and one with Real Madrid ten years later.
