I don't know why but this thread has the potential of turning into a Capello-Lippi fight similar to the Zlatan-Del Piero one.
True. But then again, you could say that about almost every thread here.:D

Why ruin a winning formula? With so many great teams in the world at the moment, we have found a coach in which we are doing extremely well with. No reason to change.
100% agree with you.it's the club that matters for me,and not player's happiness.

Juventus is beyond you, me, Trappatoni, Lippi and Capello. The fact of the matter is, this team has been structured in a manner that it holds together irrespective of an individual's whims and fancies. And thats what makes it the no nonsense dynasty that it is. Obviously I'm not implying we fire Capello mid season, but how about reviewing his performance after his first contractual stint, before deciding to up his wages and keep him on the pay roll 3 more years?

IMHO Capello is not the best coach in the world now, he never was the best and he never will be the best. That said he's still a fantastic manager.

I don't know and don't really care who's the best atm, but my favourite remains Carletto Mazzone. Yeah that's basically what matters to me : I want him to amuse me. So Cosmi is up there in my list too. As for Fergie and Wenger, they can get the hell out of this conversation.
Mazzone?! :thumb: :D

Cosmi? :D

Choice! (I don't do "quality".)

We dont really matters about Capello not being the best coach in the world. He is good enough to make us the best team in Europe for the next few years. And that is just what we need.
And thats probably the reason why the Triade is supposedly offering a contract extension to 2009, to give him chance to make planns in a bit longer period.

We need to wait, but i really think that, if the Triade stays a period of four-five years, this unsympathetic man have the knowledge to take our team to reapeat, or maybe surpass Lippi first era.....

Bora who? Bora Milutinović? The guy that took 5 different National Teams to the WC, 4 of them to the second round?
