My wife just saw studio sport and his brother cannavaro mentioned that his brother would love to come back to Juve again! So that must not be BS!
and he wud also love to return to napoli, i try not to take too much notice on what others say, i remember d'alessandro saying that saviola was to sign for juve, yes, how that happened :disagree:

Well, it's his brother after all...

So IF he really said that...

Did they just say that on Studio Sport that Paolo said it?

Or did he say it in person?

According to j1897.com's very own informer (one of Mark's sources :D), Secco had reached a pre-agreement with Cannavaro some time ago and it just depends on Real now.

my father says i would love to join juve - but juve have made no offer or contact and would even quit his professional hockey career to devote his footballing to juve

schuster wants to keep him for his defence, and canna seems to have no qualms about staying in madrid

Yeah ok, but so far I had always been convinced that Canna's will was to stay at Madrid (he said that several times: because he felt well in Madrid and because he wanted to play UCL), so now to hear from a member of his family, his brother (not a friend of the friend of the cousin of the aunt of his wife) that he actually wants to come back (if paolo really said it like that) makes me wonder if there's some truth in the rumours, you know?

untill we find an agreement with madrid which we wont as schuster wont let him go, canna wont be joining. put it this way milito wants to join us, but zaragoza are keeping a tight grip, thats what madrid will do

    That's true.
But so far I really thought that all the rumours were total BS.
Now I think that there might be some truth in it. That obviously doesn't mean that Canna is really coming. Okay? ;)

ok we shoul maybe accept also the fact that the guy is old. we should not give 17 - 20 mill for a player which left us when we needed him. i like him, i would be happy if he comes but we should not pay more than 5 millions.

Real payed 7 millions for him, why should we pay 17 - 20 millions now? :eyebrows:

5 millions is more likely, maybe even less...

god knows how much these spaniards over price everything, god it was hell wen i was trying to buy property off a spaniard in a game of monopoly.
hauuauauhaahu :D ,but seriously having canna as our leader in defence means we would have a larger option to become his partner,i think getting canna and say someone like Andrade or Pepe or even Luisao would be a very very good partnership..

and probably less than that 20Million zaragoza are asking, Canna for 5-6 and any of those centrebacks for 12-14million Euros..

Now I read that Canna jr. said: The transfer is not impossible because it's Juve but there are always many summer-rumours...

That sounds different to "He wants to come back", don't you think?

You could read it that way but I'm not sure that is really the case.

i don't think he will leave Real this summer, but if he did I would expect him to join us.

We certanly wont be playing two centre backs without any Serie A experience next seaso (Milito and Pepe for example), one of them will have to be Italian, so chances that it will be Canna aren't small at all.
