just messing around. Tudor is a good player but i think a mildly rediculous comparison of the heart maby?

anyway i don't mean to cause any problems i hope u did not take offence :pint:
I didn't make any comparison between them. Cannavaro is actually one of the best defenders in football history and no one can make this comparison.

I just want the best for our team, and getting Cannavaro back isn't smart move at all.

we got rid of cannavaro while lippi left us ... three times

you do the math genious
Lippi can bring you trophies, he's not a player, he just uses his mind while smoking cigar. so you do the math here.

and get your facts, we didnt get rid of cannavaro. it's Cannavaro HIMSELF who said he wont leave Juventus whether it's b or c.

I wonder what our chances on Milito are? I am not a big Chris fan and It seems Heinze may not come cuz DD is gone and now Madrid want him to replace Carlos

I think Milito may join Barca. I also have not heard anything about Barzagli recently and the Palermo president is stupid like the Lyon guy and asks rediculous amounts for his players.

The Pepe talk has also seemed to have vanished. There are several very good defenders in their prime out there.

For me the best 2 options who may leave their clubs this season are Andrade and Milito. Pepe and Barzagli are just behind them though.

Looking at it all now, I think it would be wise to get an experienced central defender to play along the likes of Criscito if he was to start each game. However, if we can get Milito and Mexes for example, then I really don't see a need for Cannavaro.

Now that Secco is looking at the likes of Sissoko and Mavuba, it shows he is looking at the future, that being long term. So maybe bringing in players above 30 years of age, regardless of being defenders, isn't the best idea.

And if "experience" is an issue, they'll get one season under their belts before playing in Europe as most players being rumoured are more than good enough to handle it all.

yeah, it's more like we need to focus on someone else. we need some new blood.

not to also mention that, no matter how good friend Fabio Cannavaro is with the likes of Ale, Camo, Buffon, these three atleast would feel it's harsh getting fabio back, though no one would ever admit it.

it's just never the same. so thats why i think forgettin fabio is the best step we can do.
He worked with us. He even won the Balon D'or with us [sic]. I don't see him as a long term solution, but must we really look for such in every position? I for one would prefer some routined transfers.

I see a great defence with Cannavaro at the back. If he just last a year or two, who cares? Lets bring in someone else at that point. Our main priority should be one of the top spots next season, and a great defence should IMO always be a factor in a Juventus team.

Fair enough.

But neverthless we're Juventus, I don't think it's an issue for such a big club to look for player in every position. but anyway.

Thats not the point. The point is that we didn't ask him to leave, he chose that and we forced no one nor pushed anyone. It's not he was obliged to stay.

So point is, get over him because he's not coming back, nor he's that welcomed.

Just like we got over Zambrotta and we're focusin on Chiellini time to do the same with Cannavaro.

and to be more honest, I prefer Tudor over Canna. I might be crazy, but thats just me :)
Did we ask Lippi to leave? I don't see you hating on him, and he went to Inter.

Oh, that is not what I meant at all. That wasn't meant transfer wise, or, well you get it. I understand the reaction though.

Just to clear something, I don't dislike Cannavaro at all. He's one of my fav players of all time. But I really look for Juve's best before looking at Fabio.

Lippi is a coach and not a player. There's a big diff between Lippi the coach and Cannavaro the player.

and I really can't dislike someone who brought us Champions League trophy and managed to grab the team into 3CL finals and god know how many scudetto and other cups.

You don't dislike Cannavaro yet you label him a traitor and a mercenary? You're not making sense to me.

Cannavaro is NOT a traitor. Anyone who says otherwise is wrong. Your opinion? No, just wrong.

i dont see why people hate cannavaro he had only been here for 2 seasons and although he had his best days with us he really didnt owe us much of anything, plus him and zambrotta are the only players whove both admitted they miss juve and regret leaving. i was upset that canna left but if he returns i would fully forgive him

Stu man, re-read my first post, I said i wouldnt call Canna as a traitor. I'd never call him a traitor because he simply can't be compared to the likes of Zambo, who played years for us.

Canna just played two year and no one with a brain would call Canna a traitor. It's his choice, and we all understand that.

but since we're back in Serie A, that doesn't mean we should get him back, time to move on, thats all what I'm saying.

Why not? Because he's a bad player?
1- He's old

2- He promised he'd stay but didn't (from the start he shouldnt have done that promise)

3- Time to get over him

4- Why get Cannavaro back and not Emerson, Vieira and etc all those who left? So no to all those who left without making any diff between them

etc, my reasons would go on.
