First of all, DP a bigger icon than Baggio? Not even in your wettest and wildest dreams ;) Baggio has a massive fanbase in Asia, more than DP will ever have.

when I saw Baggio in the red and black shirt for the first time, I switched the tv from colour to black and white, so at least he looked like he was still a juve player :(
so sweet :touched:

what a joy i have now ;) i will answer you with one word WAS

On the other hand, DP is more popular than Totti, because Juve have more fans than Roma around the world, therefore he's more well known.
I agree :D

So probably that's what all DP fans will do when and if (and hopefully) DP is sold. I doubt he will, even though he has not signed the new contract.
Honestly I would do the same :down:

To answer the topic, yes I can see DP in another club ;)
You wish :p;)

Oh and about Baggio being a 'was an icon' I'll just remind you that last year for the world cup, Trapattoni had received loads of pressure from sponsors (including Alitalia who even made 2 pages commercials on the italian newspapers) to take Baggio to Asia so they could have loads of profits ;)

Yeah but do you remember when he didnt play DP even when he was there? When he came on, man, WOOO, it was crazy. Just go back to your game collection of WC2002 and watch Italy vs. Mexico. Man i watch it sometimes and its amazing. when he comes on, the crowd is going crazy. when he scored, thats a COMPLETELY different story. Yes, from 1990 around to 1998 Baggio was the ICON of italy. but nowadays, when im talking to new soccer fans and stuff, (new generation) all they say is DP from italy. The other day i was reading a Soccer Italia mag, with this guy who is a Barca fan (and a soccer fan) and a pic of dp came up and he was "look its DP doing a bycicle, man hes good." then a pic of Baggio came up in a Brescia jersey, and to two other guys who follow soccer for two seasons only, i was like now he is the man, but they were like HAHA were not that guluble, i was like what the HECK this is BAGGIO. so yes currently Del Piero and Totti and most Popular, of course with DP kiccking Tottis ASS!

A lot of asians KNOW Baggio, but it is like "well, he WAS a great footballer and he's getting old"

Ale is very well known in Japan and China though I can't be sure whether he has really reached the "italian icon" level yet.

Don't bet on it because he might disappoint you to be part of the WC 2006 Squad.about Euro 2004 this isn't a small chance by any means. :D

well in Euro he may have screwed up but he scored the second best goal in the tournament against Sweden. What a goal

About Wc 98 he was still recovering from his injury.and he didn't play regularly.

So what do you want Now :D:p
