Vidal had a terrible season.
When compared to last season it was a bad league season, when compared to other midfielders in the world he has been above average. Better season than the entire City, United and Dortmund midfields.

He is hitting form about now though, crucial for CL. I expect him to dominate a tired Madrid team.

Why the hell is Pirlo always getting ratings at least one point over what his actual performances merited?

I mean shit, this newspaper got Pirlo at 9 & Marchisio at 8.5 for the season
People love to criminally overrate fantasistas.

Make no mistake, Pirlo had his share. But those that actually watch juventus knows the team performs better with a different midfield

Even though he had a slow start, I still feel that Evra deserves more than a 7 overall.
He has got more than a 7 :D

And it's fitting imo, he's had some piss-poor games at the start of the season, now he's doing good.

Licht shouldn't have more than 7.5 as well though, and Vidal at least 7.

I mean he wasn't bad this season, but I'd give him an 8. Rating him higher than Marchisio or the same as Pogba is criminal.

But I know that he's always got some bonus due to his legendary status, as Osman said it was the same with the past two "Serie A player of the year" awards.

Pogba a 9 is also far fetched. He had some genuinly 9-10 rated performances yeah. But he also had a mediocre start and most of the first part of the season.

These ratings are overly positive.

For me, 2 players actually stood out. Tevez and Marchisio. Quality to excellence all season long.

Pogba is an obvious 9 simply because he is decisive, and has done it frequently. We are dead in the waters and he saves the day with assist or goal. He breaks patterns and makes things happen, on that alone he is just 2nd best to the man who has carried us for entirity of the season.

Could someone be so kind to post videos/gifs of some decisive goals/moments/celebrations of this season in this thread? E.g Bonucci's goal against Roma, Pirlo V Torino at home, Pogba V Napoli/Sassuolo etc. I'd do it but I'm a lazy cunt.

Get on it people!

He has been a rock in the second half of the season. I noticed from about the Supercoppa onwards, he has settled in very well and become an important part of the team. His experience really helps us.

third*

Doesnt even come close to Tevea and Marchisio, but probably well ahead of others. I consider his contribution in the few good months he had more significant then the added value of Buffon and Bonucci.

I'm still hoping on a miracle to see him start tuesday tho

Pogba is easily on the same level as Marchisio. Less consistent perhaps, but simply unplayable on his day.

And Claudio is my favourite player.

The fact everyone is praying for him to start says alot of his quality. Marchisio is rock steady, but Pogba wins games, he brings decisive extraordinary quality to the core, we are struggling? Tevez off day? Dont fret, Pogba will save the day with unexpected play/burst of ingenious action. Consistent and tactical steady work as a DM is fantastic, but its not as important as the player who gives you the killer instinct and edge you need. Thats all, and I love Marchisio. Pogba isnt as consistent, because to be so he needs to do the insane shit he does on a regular basis, while what we expect from Marchisio to do consistently is alot more modest.

This is what we have been spoilt with by Pogba (his January was sick in particular):

Yeah, wich is why Pogba is the player with more impact in cup games, where Marchisio has it in league games. Offcourse, this is based on consistancy. If Pogba can be consistant for an entire season, and soon he will, his importance will improve.

Altho in the current situation, he needs Marchisio to shine, else half his talent is wasted disgustingly to babysit Pirlo. I hope we can fix that with Sturaro(making sure we allways have a cdm so pogba can actually play his role). Its a shame pogba cant play to his potential half the games

This is by far the most casual and barely-worth-getting-up scudetto I've ever seen. It's a metaphor for the decline of Serie A. In the good old Lippi days we would celebrate for days.

People are just used to Juve winning now, it's like watching a bird fly for the first time and u are all like wow that is so cool but eventually u get used to it and it's nothing out of the ordinary.
