It's not fake. In fact, in a recent meeting in Cyprus Abete was informed that he was going to receive correspondence from UEFA on the matter of Calciopoli.

What will happen is anyone’s guess. Don’t jizz yourselves just yet. It could have been a means to keep all parties content without any major steps in either direction. UEFA will receive a response sometime before the 19th of October. Their actions afterwards will tell us how serious they are.

The letter mentions that we did the same as inter. Which is wrong but can't say that because the decision at the Napoli trial is not done.
UEFA sent letter to FIGC in which they had included ours, as an explanation for their action. They haven't said that inter did the same things ( we all know they did far worse ), they quoted our letter. But it's a step forward from Platini telling Agnelli that he wasted post stamp to their inquiry about whole affair.

Doesn't read that way exactly. They cleverly left room for differences and debate. Juve's lawyers wrote that the title was revoked from Juve and handed to Inter who had committed "acts of the same genre in the same season.”

That translation is literal but what they are saying is that they committed similar acts (sporting code violations, article 1s, unsportsmanlike conduct, take your pick) but that doesn't mean Inter didn't do any worse.

It is not as if they were so stupid as to write "they committed the same acts as we did". That would have been an admission of violating article 6 or that Inter didn’t. It was clever wording. They left room to discuss Inter’s excessive violations in the future should it be required.

Gsol outside of this Farsopoli saga :D

I'd like to know what do yo think of Juve so far ???
    Wrong thread no?

Long story short, they remind me of Lippi's clan in the 90s. There is plenty of room for improvement but the foundation is a solid one for the first time in years. If they can stay healthy a top 3 finish isn't out of the question especially considering they don’t have any distractions. Wouldn’t mind seeing a high level terzino on the left in January though. As far as titles are concerned…possible but way too soon to judge.

I'm very satisfied with this letter. I mean, it's not like we can expect a big, serious organization like UEFA to write for example: "We've seen enough, you briggands! Hand Juve the scudetto back and stop this nonsense right now."

I think this letter is the best we could expect, and there's clearly a "tone" in it that suggests that the response the FIGC will give on October the 19th will be closely analyzed, and if UEFA find any discrepancies between what the FIGC claims to be true, and what facts are brought about in the Napoli trial, then UEFA will take action that's gonna favor Juve.

They can't say this explicitly, but I think this is what lies between the lines.

"In the first place, we have no reason to doubt this. However it would probably be useful if you shared your position with us regarding what Juventus have stated, in order to avoid any future misunderstandings. We would require a reply from you by 19 October. Then we will decide on the most appropriate action to take."

    Meh.

It's just a standard, broadly framed letter.

Well im happy to see this letter. This will surely bring out many discrepancies, I am confident in that. I am sure FIGC have found one way or another to cover some of their tracks but the truth always seems to find its way to the light. Lets hope UEFA picks up all the fake crap thats going to be on that reply letter.

Surely, other teams, supported by their FAs, will be quite interested from excluding Inter from the Champions League. That would put some additional pressure over UEFA to act coherently on the matter. If there is an obvious discrepancy between the FIGC statement and the NAPOLI trial, there will be no other option for UEFA but acting on the matter. Italy is getting a lot of stick in terms of international opinion with their finance, football and most importantly court system and the EU/UEFA might be forced to act and show a sign of responsibility on the old continent. Obviously punishing Inter or a football team might sound ridiculous to some , but its a popular sport and will show political will for responsibility and equality. Otherwise there is that sour taste of immunity over certain people/entities within Europe and that doesn't help with the unity and stability of the zone.

Beppe Marotta: "The 29 championships have been won on the field and legitimately. This battle is for the history of Juve and his supporters"

"If you look up there a banner that says that Juventus has won 29 league titles, and these titles have been won on the field in a legitimate and deserved. This is a fight is a duty for us, for our fans and for the glorious history of this club.

The letter from Uefa? I think the phrase on the stamp was one of the classic lines of Platini, we know that he loves it. This formal request to the Football Federation is the signal that the road we have taken is the right one, we trust. However, our process does not stop and will continue because our fans deserve the respect and level playing field. "A final word on Antonio Conte also:" He brought a good dose of Juventus, with him we can open a beautiful cycle. "

Moggi: "UEFA LETTER? CURIOUS TO KNOW RESPONSE FIGC"

"The letter from UEFA? I am also interested to know the answer FIGC saw everything that came out until now. What happened after a trial only on the fact that then Auricchio investigations have shown what they are.Auricchio when he came in the classroom to provide a reason he only said 'I do not remember' or 'I followed the games with Tabellini's Gazzetta dello Sport', some 'little respect to convictions that have been given. Let's see what will happen to the High Court on October 13. You have to bring the public and the Uefa what really happened not only a partial truth. "

    Translation?
