Nothing new. This journalist is wondering if the FIGC's position will remain so tranquil when UEFA finds out that Palazzi's declaration shows Inter's role in the 2004-2005 season and that they were never punished for it in the sports tribunal of 2006.

Being erased from football history, having their trophies melted down to create cutlery at our new stadium, and having their stadium razed to the ground is fair punishment. Milan play there too? Oh well...

Moggi wasn't a saint like some make him to be. Maybe the reason he didn't do shit in 2006 was that Juventus would be relegated and he thought that Berlusconi would bail him out or something.

He'd take Meeelan to another level if he went.

It's Juve who didn't do shit in 2006 and accepted relegation, Moggi has been fighting since then to clear both his and Juve's name.

Yet Moggi resigned as soon as it happened. As Melo said, he thought Berlusconi would bail him so he left the sinking ship thinking about his own future only.

:disagree: How he would know that Juve would be relegated, if they defend us properly, we would never be relegated to B, they accepted that and it's common knowledge. Moggi left because he couldn't be a part of the juve organisation and defend himself properly.

That's the whole thing, he didn't know the consequences, left an accused club thinking that his new employer will bail him out.

Moggi has been doing nothing but fighting for us for the past couple of years. He had to leave than. The pressure put on him was tremendous. You don't seriously think that he could have stayed as our director while facing those charges. And again who discovered inter's phone calls? And yes Moggi is a saint.

    Now now.

I am not saying that he should have stayed as director, but he didn't say anything back then. Why didn't he just laugh it off? Knowing that others did much worse than him? There's something fishy about what he did in 2006. Maybe he thought the prosecutors had much more on him than they had?

It's common thing that if you are accused of something you should keep quiet and let the lawyers do the defending part. Talking more about it only raises suspicion. There was always something fishy but not on Moggi's part. And seriously why in the hell would you want to discredit the guy implying he was acting suspiciously? For me most credit will go to him if we get our titles back.

Well, look how being quiet turned out for him. Banned for life in Calcio.

Of course most credit will go to him, I like the guy but face it, he was no saint. Saints couldn't surivive so long as he did in this dirty league.

That's a funny conclusion. "Thought Berlusconi would bail him out." His resignation was given for the most obvious reason (he's already explained it in a previous interview) - to avoid the embarrassment of being sacked and to not allow his opposition the satisfaction.
