Fiorentina patron Diego Della Valle has urged Inter chief Massimo Moratti not to “hide behind an ambiguous ruling” over the 2006 Scudetto.
Della Valle repeatedly called for round-table talks to discuss the controversial title, which the FIGC confirmed it could not strip despite new Calciopoli evidence purely because the statute of limitations has expired.

Moratti hit back with an open letter on Friday asking Della Valle not to be “manipulative. The matter has already been resolved by the competent institutions.”

Late Friday night, the Viola owner warned Inter were making things more difficult for themselves.

“They are trying to transform and manipulate a very serious matter into some sterile summer controversy,” snapped Della Valle.

“I will respond to Moratti’s comments in a Press conference next week, before the season kicks off.

“I hope Moratti will take part in that Press conference too, finding the necessary courage to accept this proposal.

“It would be good and useful for the spirit of clarification and peace, which I asked for from the start, if Moratti were here so we could both clarify our positions and our behaviour before, during and after the scandal.

“Hiding behind an ambiguous ruling certainly cannot be enough for all those who love football and justice.

“I repeat it is our duty to make things clear for our fans and the whole football world, so we can begin the new season with more calm and less violence. It would be a nice gesture and an important step towards the reformation of a future football we all hope for.

“I sincerely hope Moratti finds the necessary courage and accepts this proposal rather than fuelling long-distance controversy that resolves nothing.”

Some clubs have urged Inter to forego the statute of limitations to open up a trial into the new Calciopoli evidence, which suggests the Nerazzurri were also guilty of trying to influence the assignation of referees.

Juventus have pledged to go through the civil courts to have the 2006 title either returned to them or left unassigned.

Gotta say Ive always disliked the purple rats but given that he is the only club president coming out in the open and supporting our cause that we were manipulated and violated by Merda and the FIGC, i have a new found respect for them

Fiorentina-Merda should be a fiery matchup now after the war of words between them

Forza Della Valle for calling Moratti a cheating bastard basically!

Ya it is tough expressing the hatred sometimes. Once I beat up an Interista at a wedding and was heavily criticized for it. Once a Liverpool fan asked me to hold the elevator for him and as the door was shutting I responded "not in that jersey". The people in the elevator looked at me like I was the biggest prick in our building.

My point? You have to pick and choose where to communicate the hatred because society by and large doesn't get it. Being at work, the bosses would take the Intermerda's side. Just remember the face and bust his ribs another day.
I fuckin love you man

Its fucking appalling to hate someone enough to attack someone, or be rude to them in any way, purely because of the football team they support...Not all inter fans are cunts, like not all juve fans are saints. Some of you are acting like we are some kinda righteous knights on a crusade for justice. we ARE on a campaign for justice, but against ALL Inter fans??? I think not. Against Moratti and his cronies, and whoever else fucked us over, but ALL the fans? Thats ignorant, at best...

Plenty of apparent juve supporters I have bumped into on here who i found and continue to find, absolute morons, i dont love all juve supporters, i love the club itself. Like i dont hate all inter fans, i just hate the club itself.

Beside the point. When a person wears their kit he/she is supporting what I can only consider a criminal enterprise. It says a lot about him/her when they publicly display the colours of a club that sees fit to destroy other clubs by conspiring in board rooms rather than winning on the pitch.

For the record, the Interista I beat up was getting really lippy and eventually crossed the line. He had been warned and ignored it. Tough shit. Let it be a lesson I guess. If you are having trouble shutting up, sooner or later someone might help you out.

Don't be fooled/ He's working his own angle because he wants compensation too. We just have common enemies right now.

I would feel the same towards someone if they walked in wearing a swastika or a rebel flag...its what the support and tells you everything they need to know about their character.

Rat bastards deserve what they get. They know what and who they are supporting, they know damn well.

Swastika is obviously very different, how can you even compare the two? :sergio: By regardless, who cares? By rebel flag you mean the confederate flag I'm guessing, to which I say who cares as well? And what if they have been supporting the club for a long time prior to 2006? It just seems wrong to me to physically assault someone for any reason unless it is to protect yourself or others.

You people are weird about meeting opposition fans.

Try living in country that cares about football and supporting your local team and dealing with opposition fans every day.

    It's just an inconvenience.

I'm guessing I'm one of the weird people :p. The Inter "fans" that I know happen to be my friends, and I'm pretty sure they only support Inter because of how they have been winning a lot in the past few years, they don't really follow the sport much. Yes, it's ridiculous to support a team just because they are winning, but should I break their legs for it? No, that would be stupid. The closest thing I see regarding dealing with opposition fans would be the Mets and the Yankees, which I don't give a damn about because I find baseball boring. No one is stabbing each other over that. All I'm saying is at the end of the day it's still just a game, and there is no point in attacking someone over it.

I cant believe we are even debating this. There still are many Inter fans who are not aware of the recent events in Moggi's case. And even if they did know and are 100% certain that Moratti staged the whole story, that is no reason to attack the guy. The same applies for someone who is an Islamist, Fascist, Communist, racist or anything of that sort.

There is no difference between a Muslim guy who goes apeshit if you draw a cartoon mocking his religion and another who attacks someone who is an opposition fan. Oh no, actually there is. It is more stupid to fight over something as silly as football than to fight over religions, sexual orientations or political ideals. Atleast the brain washing in these subjects is effective and the outcomes of such ideals are significant.
This is as silly as beating someone up for preferring pro-evolution over FIFA. Its just a game people. Entertainment.

If I lived next to gsol I would wear an Inter shirt all the time just so see what he'd do. He'd know I'm a Juve fan yet the shirt would be there. I think his brain would overheat.
