Agnelli: “The system credibility is at stake”

From the USA, where he’s going to attend the Global Sports Summit, president Andrea Agnelli commented: “Fiorentina and their main share holders have properly emphasized the treatment inequality suffered from some football clubs in 2006. These differences are likely to continue if the rumours heard in the last days should be confirmed by the Federal Council on next Monday. The dialogue between the main movers of the football world is certainly desirable, but the equality conditions between these subjects must still be guaranteed, even better restored, following 5 years of a system based on double standards.
I’d like to stress that every legal action will be carried out in order to preserve Juventus, if the sports system won’t be able to provide all members with equal dignity and treatment. It’s not time for bureaucracy, it’s time for essence. The dialogue will be restored only when these conditions will be guaranteed.
People’s respectability isn’t at stake, especially the honourableness of those who cannot argue; on the contrary the system credibility does.

Lets make two paper mâché trophies and put them in the cabinet and label every seat in every row in our new stadium #29. Every exit, every gate, every parking spot...fuck it, even the roads around the stadium will be #29.

Paint a giant #29 at center circle every time we play inter at home.
... and make De Ceglie captain :D

La Juve denuncia tutti.

Scudetto 2006.

(Corriere dello Sport)

Scudetto 2006 staying at inter. FIGC council "incompetent"
Andrea Agnelli is furious:" We are taking this to the tribunal to get justice, since this world of sport doesn't know how to give any justice. From Aspen, Agnelli speaks about "dignity" and makes accusations that there is "double-standards", saying: "Juventus are ready for legal action".

Moratti the cunt (satisfied) decided to say nothing

Moratti: 2006 decision 'good news'

Massimo Moratti dubbed it “certainly good news” that Inter are likely to keep their 2006 Scudetto.
The title was handed to them during the Calciopoli scandal, stripped from Juventus, but could be revoked on Monday due to new evidence.

Despite the prosecutor’s report suggesting the Nerazzurri have that title taken away, the FIGC is expected to take no action purely because of the statute of limitations.

“Yes, I read that too,” Inter President Moratti told RAI this afternoon.

“It is certainly good news.”

    gsol, I have a question.

Marcotti is saying that the reason Juve weren't punished for article 6 is that they would be sent to Serie-C.

Any truth in that? What do you think?
Who is Marcotti? Whoever he is, he's wrong. The team was punished for article 6...they just never violated it so they made the structured article 1 bullshit to equal an article 6 rule modification and pulled it off that way. Since when were we not punished for article 6? Did I imagine the relegation and year in Serie B.? We were never found guilty of it but the punishment that was imposed on us was that of an article 6 violation nonetheless.

Maybe the "writers" at FI should stick to other topics. They are the only ones left talking about that title and the statute of limitations. Inter won't be punished because of the statute but the scudetto can't be revoked by the FIGC because it was never actually assigned to Inter. All Guido Rossi did was mention that they were #1 in the standings in a press conference and submit the list of qualified teams to UEFA for their competitions with Inter listed first.

As far as the rules are concerned Inter were never the rightful holders of that title, or even the fake holders of that title. They just had the crest stiched on like a bunch of pathetic losers.

    Gabriele Marcotti.

Probably the highest profile Serie A covering journalist in Britain.

Think he's World Football Correspodent (or something like that) for The Times and frequently features on BBC Radio.

Interesting. You'd think a high profile guy like that would do his homework before publishing errors.

    Oh well.

Actually it doesn't surprise me, he is so biased it's laughable. One big reason why the English-speaking world still thinking Moggi bribed referees and Juventus fixed matches.

Since 2006 he has been spewing bullshit, and because a large number of football fans in the UK are ignorant about calcio, they take his word as gospel.

If you want to see how biased he is, listen to this podcast,

    http://www.beyondthepitch.net/podca...eyond-the-pitch/2011/07/11/gabriele-marcotti/

Why do people respect Gabriele Marcotti? His opinions on calciopoli are incredibly selective. Listen to this podcast. He is using the argument that Ïnter's actions were defensive against Moggi, he brings up the SIM card argument against Moggi, and a few other weak points that have been proven to be bullshit in the courts, such as the GEA nonsense. He uses all of the above as a reason why Moggi is more guilty than anyone else. He makes no mention of the difference between Inter's article 6 and Moggi's article 1 btw.
