Analyze the phone with the former designation of arbitration Bergamo

SENT IN NAPLES
When, on April 13 last, the expert of the court of Naples, Robert Porto, began to transcribe the 224 wiretaps on new and Calciopoli "discoveries" by the lawyers of Luciano Moggi, Inter, Massimo Moratti, Inter and the then number one Hyacinth Facchetti had already been shoved into the scandal ever seen. Involvement of a party, he said. A turning point that caused vibrations and moods, but that to be certified and non-partisan, had to wait for the work of an engineer appointed by the Court.

Now that the hard work of the engineer has ended Porto, Inter, Moratti and Facchetti find themselves even more to the center of Calciopoli. What weight will the transcripts of 224 interceptions lodged at the court of Naples? Inter and its leaders spoke with the designators of the time, but also with some whistle, has certified the work of the expert. Among the interviews, one in particular had made to mark the point of no return in the verbal duel between the two sides at a distance: Facchetti and Bergamo will be heard on the phone 26 November 2004, a phone call where you hear a voice say, "Oh well ... but put Hill ... "about arbitration grids. It was the late Inter president, so the legal Moggi. "You act in a shameful exploitation of the memory of my father: put the Hill said Bergamo, enough of these fakes are unacceptable. Intervening bodies of the Football Federation, "thundered Gianfelice Facchetti, son of the great champion Inter.

After five and a half months, that's the truth. That phrase put («... Hill ...») Facchetti has ruled, writes the expert of the court. Juve are awaiting a response from the sports justice all'esposto with asking the FIGC withdraw the title of the season 2005/06. The thesis of the club is known Corso Galileo Ferraris, as well known is the legal basis underlying the allocation of a sports title at a table, a championship may be awarded without having won on the field to a company without blemish. Speaking of grills arbitration with designators indicating a whistle that kind of behavior constitute? For Juve there is no doubt, and the prosecutor Stefano Palazzi of the ball the clock is ticking. 007 The Football Association are to work for a week and their board is the binder with the 224 already transcribed interceptions, including one with the voice, "but put Hill ...». Penalty from the hearing yesterday in Naples emerge more news. Moggi's defense seems willing to give up the calling of Moratti as a witness because they know, "Our defensive line has already passed." On October 19 next slide in the classroom may Alessandro Del Piero and Zlatan Ibrahimovic to repeat as the league championships have been won regularly. Meanwhile, the defense asked the transcription of other 136 calls.

I love how google translates Collina into "Hill".

And another police officer will tell you there was enough evidence to demote Juve.

Doesn't necessarily mean either one is right.
It doesn't mean much when police officer agrees with the trial;)

But it does mean something when one says things were wrong and unfair towards Juve. The value of such a statement means a lot more than agreeing with the trial and the judges.

Rab is right. It's like saying years later Johnny Cochran admits to a news paper that OJ Simpson was actually guilty and should have been sent to jail. That would mean more than a lawyer years later saying "yep, we were right".

Maybe it would if we were talking about a neutral here, but apparently the cop in question is a Juve fan.

Probably, probably not.

But isn't he spot on? I mean if Inter fans or Inter management themselves can't give you a single evidence of just 1 thing wrong (that deserved into relegating us and revoking our two deserved Scudetti) then who can?

I am yet to hear one convincing story let alone proof/evidence, just one convincing logical story that we committed that deserved such a punishment.

Look, we both know the whole trial was a farce. Probably even worse than what we believed at the time.

But like I said before: Public opinion is what ruined us, more than anything else.

Saying it "means something" when a Juve- supporting cop disagrees with what happened is just wrong though. Since that cop has about as much credibility as I would have, as a Juve fan.

Now you're judging my thoughts about all this Calciopoli based on what I had to say about the cop? I just gave an example.

Okay, forget the cop, forget what he said, because even if he would have sided with Inter instead of Juve, fact is, there's nothing on us, we are as clean as other teams, we won on the pitch and the whole world witnessed.

Public opinion can mean little, wont change much so long there's someone behind Moratti and Inter's back. It didn't really ruin us IMO. Asking for the truth, fair and equal treatments is the least public/fans can do.

If you really mean that, then I don't think you really understand what happened a couple of years ago.

Do you really believe that we would have been relegated based on the so called "evidence" if public opinion had been different at the time? Not a chance.

We were big, bad Juve. Cheating our way to victory and putting pressure on players & officials. And as I mentioned earlier, this image was not created overnight, it was in the making for 10-15 years. The trial just "confirmed" people's suspicions, without even the need to prove it.

Oh, and when you say there was someone behind Moratti's back you're obviously right: it was public opinion (among other things).

By the way, I am not judging you or anyone else for that matter. No need to convince me that the trial was a hoax, I am well aware of that. But I am also well aware why we were the ones that got punished, and that is something that others seem to keep ignoring.
