I know what you said, that's question had nothing to do with what you said. I am helping you to understand how I think about this. Why they didn't take the case to European court? If they were innocents and believed in what they did was right, they would take it without thinking for a second.

I have no idea why anyone did anything. Regarding Calciopoli. That's why I'm very skeptical about the whole thing. I doubt there was nothing behind it, I'm sure there was. But what? If you check out some Italian forums there are plenty of people there pissed that our board didn't defend the club. So that raises the same point that you made.

And Martin, if you were in charge of this club, in Moggi's shoes, and you were totally innocent, would you escape like he did? would you resign if you were innocent?
lol Moggi was definitely not innocent, that's the one thing I'm sure of. And he's admitted as much. What he kept saying was "there was a system bigger than me", whereas everyone else said he was the system. Who's telling the truth? Perhaps neither.

I'm curious though.

Which court in particular were you thinking of?

Moggi said his reason to resign was to better defend Juventus. The sporting justice didn't allow witnesses and a defense so he decided to do that at the ordinary justice instead.

About the new board not defending the club I guess they were scared of the treats from UEFA/FIFA about not allowing Italian clubs in any of their tournaments if Juve stepped over the Italian sporting justice.

That's maybe the biggest mistake in the history of the club

And Elkan brothers watching all these? (again I am not telling you you said that :D, but to those who think that way) and even supporting these board? and the whole Juventus community watching that and doing nothing? That would make us the most pathetic club in the world. And why would anyone harm his own club or watch that happening?

And those who came with these ideas are also the ones who said that the trial was unfair, because it is not allowed to present what was spoken in telephones (sorry I don't know the exacts words of that, was it telephone scripts?) as evidence, ignoring what was spoken there. And not just that, they also came with "many clubs are like that, they are equally guilty as us" but keep saying "we were not guilty".. That "Everyone is guilty, not just as" attitude I don't buy it. Everyone should pay for what they did and still do.

Like yourself, I don't believe we were innocents or totally clean, so I am glad we paid for what we did. But sure if you ask me, are others clean? I doubt! Do they deserve to be punished? Absolutely they do, and I hope that happens soon.

Sadly, many still think he is an innocent angel.

Who was Alexis? Seven?

yeah, what a defense that was!!

Who cares? If we were total innocent, I would take my team to that court. It's much better than being remembered as a "disgrace" in press for years, forever better to say..

They were new on board, maybe they thought they didn't have the whole truth so didn't take a chance.

They had no witnesses or defense allowed back then. In the new trial that going on you can and all the points that got us in this sh*t are falling.

well i like getting these kind of info, because i do have the hope that in a day we'll get cleared by justice.

I don't think its a question of Juve, Milan, Fiorentina, Reggina getting cleared. I think its more a case where there were more teams involved than initially let on

Back in 2006 there were league officials commenting on how Inter are their busiest customers. They just never got the chance to say any of those things during the calciopoli "proceedings" because Guido Rossi made sure Moggi/Juventus couldn't defend themselves properly by calling up key witnesses.

I'm surprised Inter don't have another Guido Rossi at this trial pulling the strings for them.
