They were quite right! Why didn't Moggi go to the European court?
I know it does, but it also begs the question of how long the tenticles of whoever is against us reaches..
I am in no way nearly as informed on this subject as you, but i'm not getting my hopes up too high considering it seems everyone in the Italian, European and world football seem quite comfortable in not giving a hoot about our injustices. I could be wrong but after several disapointments i'm not exactly trembling in excitement.. I generally beleive in your argument's and our innocence & i hope to god the truth really comes out but knowing our recent luck, i wouldnt be suprised if they just sweep your appeal under the carpet

We have our answer...this is depressing.
First of all it needs to be stated that Moggi's appeal was rejected. No new information against him was provided and no proof of his guilt was established. Actually the rejection (which I have in Italian and will provide for whoever is interested) confirms that no game was fixed. It merely states that Moggi managed to psychologically convince the referees to favor Juventus apparently without them acknowledging that they were doing it since the same court absolved them of any wrong doing and confirmed that they did not communicate with Moggi.
How can something so absurd occur in a civil court?

When Luciano appealed he appealed as Luciano Moggi vs. FIGC and more specifically the FIGC's Sports Justice departments (CAF and CF). Essentially the very entity that employs the president of the Court he was appealing to. Conflict of interest? Are we surprised?

There is no evidence to be brought forth. The trial is an appeal based on the unlawfulness of the initial verdicts and all that can be presented from the defense (in this case the FIGC) is what was used in those trials. Only we can bring new material which we have to report to the defense in advance.
Don’t be fooled because it's not his last appeal. He can go to the State Council and then to the European Court. In actual fact the TAR Court is merely a stepping stone on the way to the Supreme Federal Courts.
Our Association (Giu Le Mani Dalla Juve) released a statement today claiming that we will begin our appeal on Juventus’ behalf (which can result in our scudetti being rightfully returned) on May 15th 2008 in the same TAR Regional Court. Though we are fairly certain that the appeal will be unsuccessful, it will serve as a platform to go to the State Council and more importantly the European Court where our lawyer (Luc Mission of the Bosman case) is already preparing the preliminaries. Furthermore the Association is prepared to take the appeal to the Human Rights Court also under the European Umbrella.

My hopes are in the European court system. I do believe that the State Council in Italy is better than the TAR but ultimately I don't trust Italian justice.
In the end I do believe Europe will pull through or the FIGC (which will be held liable should we win) will cave and try to settle out of court to avoid bad publicity.
