Ferrara blasts Moratti claims Wednesday 6 February, 2008

Juventus legend Ciro Ferrara has slammed Inter President Massimo Moratti for his claims that the 2002 Scudetto was won unfairly.
The Calciopoli scandal may have been consigned to the annals of history, but Moratti believes that Juve used underhand tactics to triumph in 2002.
His claims relate to May 5 when Inter needed to beat Lazio away to win the title, but they lost 4-2 at allowed the Old Lady to clinch the silverware with a 2-0 win over Udinese.
“Without that crew of crooks we would have won the League in 2001-02,” Moratti said earlier in the week, relating to the Juve triade of Luciano Moggi, Antonio Giraudo and Roberto Bettega.
However, Ferrara, who was playing that day, has struck back at the Inter chief.
“Moratti knows how to lose, but he hasn’t learned how to win yet,” he bellowed.
“All I say to him is if you have any evidence then show us, but otherwise don’t say anything.
“This story of the Scudetto in Udine is old news, but all of the Inter players know very well what happened.
“I have spoken to them in private and there have never been any problems. We sweated for that title on the pitch,” he concluded

As usual, Moratti wailing about Juventus winning the 2002 scedutto by unfair means. We have proven ourselves time and time again who is superior on the pitch and don't need to resort to underhanded tactics to get what we wanted compared to someone who claimed that his hands are clean......
