what happened so far today are what the prosecutors want. The judge didn't make a decision yet.

What they want are:

- Statute of limitation for Moggi and Giraudo for criminal association(associazione per delinquere).
- Cancel sentence of Sporting Fraud for Luciano Moggi.
- Statute of limitation for Pairetto and Mazzini.
- Asked for ex-ref De Santis appeal to be rejected.
- Ask for ex-refs Bertini and Dattilo to be absolved.(Udinese yellow cards that never happened...)

What I don't get is this:

If you have no criminal convictions of Moggi and Giraudo, how on Earth is Juventus not going to be compensated for that? The whole foundation of Calciopoli is basically that Moggi committed sporting fraud. If you don't have these criminal convictions, what is left?

Are those 443M an everything/nothing issue or could the court appoint some amount inbetween?
Numbers are almost never an all or nothing issue.

I suppose they could work around it by saying there are different statutes of limitations. For example they could say that while he no longer can be prosecuted criminally, Juventus could still face civil lawsuits. Again, I do not know nearly enough about Italian law, but the whole thing strikes me as odd.

Also, if I am correct the prosecutor asked for the sentence for sporting fraud to be annulled anyway. In that case I don't understand it at all.

logically if they ask for the sporting fraud to be dropped and the judge accepts then we should go ahead and go for the money and ask for the scudetti back. Logically but who knows what they'll invent this time.

It will all be so swept under the carpet.
The media already thinking this morning a ruling was made and only say Moggi is guilty but saved by the staute of limitation.

No decision was made and they don't mention the other demands by the prosecutors that clear Juve of everything.

The biggest question in my mind is whether or not they'll say Moggi was not guilty of sporting fraud. If they do so that is a big step towards clearing Juve's name.

As for the criminal association part, if the prosecutor himself says too much time has passed, most courts will follow him. Especially because a prosecutor with the highest national court is not a nobody.

if we get the money and titles we should also sue them for the 2006/07 season. with Juve officially being recognized as the 2006 Serie A champion that season should be declared irregular since we as the champions didnt get the chance to play and to defend our title. we should either ask to play a title deciding game (or two) with Inter to get an official regular champion for that season or ask for that season to have no champion (like the 2005 one currently). would something like this be possible?

today, if we look back at 2006, its incredible how much we got screwed. Inter won 4 consecutive titles after 2006 and Milan one, with both winning a CL title. in that time span, and with the team and finances we had at the time, i think its safe to say we would have won atleast 3 Serie A titles and atleast one CL title. 443M cant compensate for that, not even close

No. This would not be possible.

Yes, we were screwed over big time. Which is why it is almost impossible to give us our scudetti back. The consequences would be way too big and could potentially destroy Serie A (again).

We should call Michael J. Fox and have the 2005-06 team of either club transported to the present day to play a two-legged decider.

Better still Inter could just accept that they were the second best team in Italy that season, as shown by the league table and head to head meetings.
