I support Juventus in a much different way than you do. I still look at the SPORT and the TEAM, not the cause and the conspiracy.
I know this side-argument arised earlier in this thread, but why does it bother you (and others as well) that gsol chooses to investigate/discuss the calciopoli scandal?

I fully understand your que sera sera whatever happened happened let's-move-on mentality - fine nobody says this is not acceptable, actually all of us, even gsol included (perhaps) thinks like that.

Thing is there are still some grey areas here which need to be cleared. I mean, all of this just literally came out of the blue. We literally woke up one morning and were hit with this Calciopoli news (1st week of May 2006). It's not like it was a gradual process that was being discussed, and then a case was raised.

I respect gsol for his efforts and research, instead of just simply accepting things as they happened. He may be wrong, he may be right...I don't see what the "disturbing" part of it is.

With the exception of Napoli, I think, he listed the "seven-sisters" of Serie A during the mid-1990s period onwards till around the early 2000s when some of the clubs financially self-destructed and their "force-to-be-reckoned-with" reputation (and top five finishes) were a thing of the past...

Even though I don't have the mentality of que sera sera what bothers me is that gsol wants me to believe in the conspiracy, he wants me to pay attention to his research and he would even dare call me a non-Juve fan if I don't believe in it.

Football isn't a matter of life and death. It is a game, there are no enemies. Rival fans dislike each other at matches and when they see each other but the majority in the world don't go out to kill them like they are an enemy. Football brings people together, it doesn't cause wars.

With the exception of a world cup qualifier match between Honduras and El Salvador. A war erupted between the two countries a looong time ago IIRC :p

Good post, by the way, and fully agreed.

when you supported the team in Serie B you didn't feel like maybe Juve had an enemy or two?

No I want you to not believe he conspiracy. I never presented one, the gazzetta did. The only conspiracy there is you believe already. The "Moggi was the antichrist puppet master of soccer" theory. I showed how silly the theory was and how unjust the trial was.

Look at it from a financial angle. TELECOM, FIGC, GAZZETTA, etc are the enemies...not fans of teams

Exactly. Who is not interested in this thread, he should stay away and not act like a smartass because nobody here knows more about Calciopoli than Gsol.
