So I guess there is no point appealing against the fine, even though it may be illegal.

I respect GLMDJ alot and I hope they win, but I'm not that confident. There facing an uphill battle, against seasoned corruption. Unless GLMDJ has elitist of its own amongst its ranks, I cant see anything happening.

In Italy me neither...but we can't go to Europe until all Italian appeals have been attempted.

The court is more likely to award legal fees if they deem that there wasn't a good reason to appeal.

In Italy, and especially with regards Juve, the law may well be different though.

No it's exactly as you stated. The argument was that it should be handled in a sports tribunal and not in civil court. Of course all the referees and designers went to the same TAR court and were not only accepted but won. We represent Juve though.

Moratti Tells Juve: We Are Proud Of 2006 Scudetto

Inter President Massimo Moratti has refused calls to hand back to Juventus the 2006 Scudetto, and says that that championship is a source of great pride for all Interisti.

The bitter rivalry that is today present between Inter and Juventus is strongly linked of course to the Calciopoli crisis in 2006.

The scandal resulted in the Bianconeri having their Scudetti from 2005 and 2006 revoked, with Inter being issued the latter of these titles.

Conspiracy theories aside, Juventus fans and staff have always maintained that they won the 2006 Scudetto because they were the best side.

Yesterday Italian newspaper Tuttosport asked Inter chief Moratti if, in view of this, he would be willing to hand back to Juventus the 2006 title.

“Why don’t you return them? It would be a nice gesture," said the Turin-based paper.

Moratti was unimpressed by this demand, and his response was very clear.

"I have never taken into consideration this hypothesis,” declared the oil tycoon.

“Indeed I consider this Scudetto as a source of the greatest pride for Inter.”

Moratti then aimed a sarcastic cheap shot at Juventus, saying, in clear reference to the recent Scudetto victory, that he had better things to do with his time.

"Congratulations to Juventus for its purchases, but we in this period have other things to do,” he concluded.

Want to laugh? GLMDJ has been ordered to pay the legal expenses of the FIGC, CONI, and Inter 2000 Euros each for the rejected appeal...

When GLMDJ get to the European courts, they should claim all expense back from them!

Proud of stealing a scudetto! This man has no shame! Considering the criminals he associates with, I suppose this is only to be expected from him.

Actually his response was pretty good.

He said "if we want to discuss this like that, and Rolexes, and 6 minutes of injury time in the Coppa Italia final then we might as well end our discussion". hahaha

Obviously he was alluding to the occasions that Juve were robbed. I hope that prisoner drops the soap by the way because Lippi brought home the World Cup. Show some respect.

    Zidane autobiography stolen

Lahouri today intimated that he believes the book came to be stolen because certain people did not want it to be published.

“Of the many people I interviewed for the biography, some called me back to say they no longer wanted to appear in the book.

“I excavated a wealth of material from publicists and financiers, but above all looked at doping, which had never been written about before.”

Zidane's former club Juventus were implicated in a doping scandal while the World Cup winner was with the Turin giant's between 1996 and 2001.

The Frenchman was asked to give evidence to Turin magistrates investigating the matter, which came to their attention after a provocative interview given by former Roma boss Zdenek Zeman.

Juventus were, however, cleared of all charges.

This morning: Reggina, Udinese and Genoa investigated for false accounting. If the numbers were right they couldn't have participated in Serie A.

Later: Milan and Inter fined 90 thousand dollars for the player trades values and other sh*t.

    F*CK YOU PALAZZI!!!

I think it's about non-eu players bought outside Italy.
So far Italian teams could have bought only 1 non-EU outside Italy per year, but i guess they'll make it 2 or 3 non-EU.
Or is it something else ?

If it's what i'm talking about then the rule is great for the league in general.
