Have to wait and see who the new sponsor is and how much they put up before can tell if it is a loss.

Is this not the company Gadaffi has a big share in? Is this likely to be linked with him reportedly going to sell his stake in juve?

Think although money is a big issue it is another good chance to coninue the reimaging of juve and not being pally with guys who support terrorism would be a good thing generally.
    Who supports terrorism??

Barca played without a sponser for thier whole history and they seemed not to be bothered financially. between i think Tamoil had the thing with our older managment and to be honest i think we could do better. i expect a new deal by March
Well,Barca is quite on top of the list of teams with the highest debts at banks, so dont be too euforious

Juve lose shirt sponsors Friday 22 December, 2006

Juventus have lost out on a massive £160m after oil giants Tamoil rescinded their shirt sponsorship contract with the club.

The Bianconeri did have a deal in place with the company until 2010, but their relationship will now terminate at the end of the present campaign.

Juventus had been in talks with Oilinvest Bv, who control Tamoil, to renegotiate terms following the club’s demotion to Serie B.

However, after months of negotiations, no compromise could be reached as the club failed to convince Tamoil to stay on board.

It’s being reported in Italy on Friday that their decision to leave the Old Lady will cost the outfit an incredible £160m.

The Bianconeri were set to net £70m between 2005 and 2010, with the rest of the funds promised between July 2010 and June 2015 should they have taken up on their option to extend.

Instead, Juve have collected just £24m from the contract that had to be reassessed given that the club were no longer in Serie A and out of the Champions League.

The loss of funds may have a deep impact on the side’s future seeing as they were looking to buy big in the summer.

Numerous star players have already warned officials that they will only stay in Turin if the squad is competitive at the highest levels once they complete their expected return to Serie A.

Juventus had already seen their Sky Italia TV and Nike contracts reduced by 30 per cent following their Calciopoli enforced demotion.

what more awaits juventus seriously the club is in soooooo much trouble, by far the worest year in juves history.

Well the Nike and Sky Sports thing happened the moment we got relegated, why are people cursing Nike now?
I dont think anyone knew that they cut our money by 30%

not neccesarily though.. lazio played without a sponsor, so do roma
we want to have the extra money to sign the very best players (which Roma and Lazio dont always do), in order to compete with Milan and Inter

if it were so easy to obtain sponsors as your talking we wwould be the richest club in the world.. but nobody is about to give the 230 million euros that tamoil gave juventus, at least not now

Juve might want to get a short term deal this time so they can get a bigger, better deal the following season once we're back in the champs league.

Getting a new deal won't be an issue for a brand as globally massive as juve. Only question is how much they get and if the board try to to do it as a re-imaging exercise and get a morally aceptable company as sponsor.
