This reminds me of a famous bushism :

Journalist : "Mr Bush, can you name the new PM of India?"

Bush : "Yes, the new PM of India is...errr...no I can't name him. But can you name the new Foreign Minister of Mexico?"

Journalist : "No, but Im not running for the presidency"

he did the same thing with the canadian PM.

OURNALIST: "What do you think tribal sovereignty means in the 21st century and how do we resolve conflicts between the tribes and the federal government?"

GEORGE W BUSH : "Yeah. Tribal sovereignty means that ... sovereign. You're a... you're a... you've been given sovereignty, and you're viewed as a sovereign entity. [Audience guffaws] And, therefore, the relationship between the federal government and tribes is one between, uh, sovereign entities."

OK, I know it doesn't come off good on the written page but then you gotta hear it!

Damn, you'd think he would at least know the PM of a country sharing such a huge border with his. Unless he did it on purpose to show Chrétien (and now Martin, right?) how much he cares about those who aren't "with us"?

Another great show of his extensive knowledge of the world : "keep good relations with the Greecians "

And of his mastery of etymology : "the problem with the French is that they don't have a word for entrepreneur "

Did anyone see the second debate? The INTERNETS???
Though technically there are many internets and only one Internet, I don't suspect that was the subtlety he had intended. ;)

voted for #3:

actually Bush has to go but do you really believe that there will be a big change? I have my doubts though I'd like to be surprised favorably by Kerry's policy. Moreover I don't have enough background knowledge about the manifestos in order to come to a decision. But it is sure that Bush is an alive disaster when he has to "deal" with foreign affairs. Domestically I don't care about the US that much as I'm more interested in Europe and its prospects and problems.

"They never stop thinking of new ways to harm our country and people, and neither do we" :D
 Please, humor me with something a little more naive.

The vote is 15 to 5 in favor of John Kerry, who would of thought?

I think this forum and it's views is a fair representation of the general view in the world, dont you?
Yes I do, and that's some pretty incriminating stuff when looking at Sergio's post persecuting how people speak of Americans and our politics. :D

Well, Tito wasnt elected per se, he was the leader of the revolution, the fight against the Nazis, became president of the Communist Party and after that the President of Yugoslavia for life. People adored him. There will never be such a sad day in the history of ex Yugoslavian nations as the day Tito died. The entire country was in tears. Men, women, children everywhere were in disbelief. Tito had an immense amount f respect in the world. He was a great man.
