Kovac winning a national trophy with a shit team is a bigger coaching achievement than anything Poop did. What's his net spend at Bayern and City, 1 billion? Lmao Liverpool won CL before him and Barca kept winning CL way after him with shittier players

In the CL did he certainly flop big time, no Messi to bail him out. But I think it's fair to say he's a good coach in the national league, although only after spending 1 billion or more lol.

In Barca did he take over one of the greatest teams of all time, in Bayern did he take over a treble team that was well drilled all over both tactically and physcially, in England did he take over some obscure oil club with endless funds to get him all the players he wanted.

It's fair to say he never had to really fight in those clubs where he been in charge, everything was served to him on a platter with only few exceptions maybe when he took over in Barca during the first year.

Better coaches have failed to bring you the CL before. You can't force that one and no coach can guarantee it. So realistically DFB Pokal and League Title are must have wins for Bayern, Kovac won them both. Can't ask much more.

I think Ten Hag would gain respect from the players, mainly because what he achieved with Ajax in the last 2 years, but also because he already won titles and know what it takes.

Apart from that, it seems he have the philosophy the players can get behind. Then it's all about if he can stand up to the pressure there is in Bayern.
