Actually I agree with him. There is no point getting a "gem" if he is going to the bench anyway. Especially when we are talking about 30M-40M..
I say either trust Scalvini or get a more proven player.
P.S how good is Theate? He is turning into a really good player on FM and he starts being quite good from the start (never watched him or at least I dont recall watching him.)

I'm a big believer in plundering Red Bull Salzburg.

I'd take Pavlovic and Kjaergaard in a heartbeat and wouldn't be against Wober even. All three on EU passports, all younger than 22 except Wober who is 24 and all of them have high potential and good quality to offer us.

Strip out all the high wages earners on our squad who aren't under 26 and stock up on young, strong European talent. Sprinkle in some Italians and players from our Next Gen squad. We should open a scouting pipeline to Red Bull Salzburg and RB Leipzig.

Not good enough. Bremer and Danilo as the two CBs doesn't inspire confidence. Cambiasso is definitely not starter material. That midfield lacks experience, so maybe Rovella should be coming off the bench/rotating with Locatelli (who hasn't been that good for some time now). We need more experience in that midfield. Other than that, I'd say it's quite decent.

I would like to take Kovacic, his contract ends in 2024, without the Champions League and with an overcrowded squad, Chelsea will have to sell.
A midfield Pogba Kovacic Locatelli will be nice.
