We need:

- A winger who can stretch defences and beat his man, a younger and less injury prone version of Costa

- A proper box to box midfielder who is good going forward, a younger and less injury prone Ramsey.

- A proper right back. Cuadrado is 31 and Danilo isn’t good enough.

They are of different class
they're both good.
If Costa stays 100% fit all season It would be a no brainer Costa vs Chiesa.
Anyway Chiesa is too expensive for what he can offer same what Bernardeschi can offer but at least we paid him 40m and not the 70-80 Fiorentina is asking.

But Chiesa isn't what we need. We need a scoring winger or a proper number 10. Dybala isn't an assist man or an advanced playmaker

Id like to see erikson come in to properly link the attack but Ramsey when healthy does a good job. Costa coming back will be interesting for our shape as well to see if we go with ramsey and costa or if they rotate starting position. If Ramsey play more of a box to box successfully that could change us a lot. Im still holding out on Rabiot judgement until end of the season. I like his physicality and think he could turn out to be a qaulity starter for us.

All that said.
If ramsey can play Box to Box id Like to see Erikson brought in, younger rb in the next season or two but no rush, and a potential top market opportunity. We arent really desperate anywhere anymore IMO and can look to add top notch quality somewhere if the price is right. Also we can continue buying up young talent and selling or developing like we have been for the last few years

As good as Ramsey & Rabiot are, need to add a WC mid for sure.

If it's Eriksen, we can use the funds to sign the new Mbappe.

Third way we can improve first team is via 2-3 backup upgrades. Current ones will fund new ones.

I like Matuidi but hes running out of time as well so it will be interesting to see how Sarri changes the position or looks for an athletic player to replace him

2020/2021

Szcz
Cuadrado-chiellini-bonucci-sandro
Pjanic
Eriksen-ramsey
Costa-dybala-ronaldo

Add pogba somewhere and literal all-star team
Szczesny and Ramsey maybe fit in an Arsenal all-star team, but not Juve. Need to replace them there.

..and Costa too, Shachtar all-star at the most.

If we can get Eriksen, Meunier and Soumare - that’ll sort out our midfield and right back problems right there and then.
