Grzegorz Krychowiak - Elite defensive mid, midfield destroyer
Mirante (3MM) - HG depth player, allows Neto to be sold for 10 million
Ranocchia (2MM) - Caceres replacement - realistically won't play much, but perhaps could experience a renaissance playing in a strong Juventus backline, and training with BBC.
Mattia Destro - Quick striker, has been good in the past. Would facilitate the sale of Zaza for 30 million euro.

Like the guys above me said, some of those names are really wat-worthy.

And ill give an advise, on our sales i would lower each player by a couple millions....example Asamoah 10-12 mils max instead of your suggested 15 mils. Why?, because Marotta always gets lowballed hardcore. Sadly its the truth.

You notice Gomez when the team has the likes of Maggio, Ranocchia and Destro? :)
I did mean to remove Maggio - I decided against him - he is too unbalanced.

That being said:
-Ranocchia: He would be 5th reserve behind BBC & Rugani. He also has some upside and would be cheap. He would not even be close to being a starter. I'd love to buy Romagnoli, but frankly it is not realistic.
-Destro: This guy was potting a goal per game with Roma at one point a couple of years agp. One issue with calcio is we don't give our young talent the opportunity to thrive. Destro as a 4th striker isn't a problem, and more importantly it allows us to monetize talent for above market value to acquire elite players. Destro at one point was considered higher upside than Zaza, and quite frankly, his technical ability is better. I don't see any problem with giving our reserve spots to Italian reclamation projects.
-Mario Gomez: This guy had one injury prone year with Fiorentina. He has been very good in the Euros and was nearly a goal per game in Turkey (contrast that RVP). He is clinical in front of goal, and is a counter attack threat. He is a very reasonable replacement in the near term for Morata.

If trying to build out depth, I don't see why every player has to be a world beater. Of course, our starting 11 should have a lot of quality, and the substitutes should be strong, but having Mario Gomez & Mattia Destro behind Mandzukic isn't a bad thing, especially if you can sell the likes of Zaza for 30 million.

Dude, Ranocchia sux.
He was highly touted at one point, but completely mismanaged at Inter. I'm sure playing with a high quality backline like BBC would bring out his best. And if he stinks, get rid of him. For me, it's low risk, high reward, which I think is not a bad idea to do occasionally. I do think we need a 5th CB though. Rugani behind BBC is not enough in terms of depth.

One of the reason this Italian generation is bad is because they do not play or play on bad teams. 2/3 of the league is foreigners right now. It's imperative to at least give Italian players a chance.

Destro for example potted 13 goals in 2013/2014 in a limited number of games.

We do need a 5th CB, but we need one who when required, does not suck donkey balls.

I suppose I believe in reclamation projects more than most here, especially if low risk.
Ranocchia for example, was highly touted, and has had periods of being decent. Put any player in that Inter disaster of the last few years, and you'll look bad, and it will ruin your development. Then he goes to Sampdoria, which was also a disaster. Give him a role in BBC, and I'm sure he looks much better. He won't be a starter, but a 5th reserve? I think that is an attainable goal. And if he is a liability, ship him out. Or maybe you take him on loan.

These reclamation projects can work - and we have had good success with them. Also, environment has a huge impact on the success of a player. To illustrate the points:
- Reclamation: Tevez - There were many people here who hated the idea of getting him. He turned out well.
- Reclamation: Pirlo - Considered done by Milan, that turned out well.
- Reclamation/Change of Environment: Hernanes - Yeah I can quote dozens about how bad he would be. He turned out to be decent too.
- Change of Environment: Evra vs. Vidic: Many United fans thought Vidic would be much better than Evra in Serie A. The opposite was true. Imagine what would have happened if Vidic went to Juventus, and Evra went to Inter. Throw Evra in that Mazzarri disaster, and I'm sure he'd struggle too.

Ultimately, changes of environment can be massive for a players confidence.

On Gomez though, if anyone has followed his performance, they'd know how potentially successful this transfer could be. 26 goals in 31 games. Turkey isn't amazing, but it isn't crap either. Mario Gomez can score, and I'm sure he'd be a very successful purchase.

And the most important aspect of my moves:

You monetize overvalued talent for cheaper depth, and use the proceeds + other sales to buy elite pieces.

I'd take Ranocchia as a depth defender if it meant getting Rodriguez instead of spending 15 million on a player who will ride the bench and only play cup games anyways. Think about it...we had BBC last year, and for 1/2 the year Rugani hardly played. It took an eventual injury, and that doesn't even consider potentially playing with two CBs rather than 3 CBs. You don't need to spend 15 million on another CB. A player like Ranocchia will suffice.

Marotta said 2 good players for every position (3-5-2):

GK: Buffon, Neto
RWB: Alves, Licht
RCB: Bonucci, Barzagli
LCB: Chiellini, Rugani
LWB: Sandro, Evra
RCM: Khedira, Lemina
CM: Marchisio, Pjanic
LCM: Pogba, Asamoah
SS: Dybala, X
ST: Mandzukic, Zaza

Need another SS/CF to wrap it all up.

IMO, sell Asamoah, Pereyra and Zaza while his value is high and get another SS and CM (to replace Asa) and one more CB.

Come on man Pirlo and Tevez had been world class in their positions for years the players you are mentioning showed some promise and then totally failed. I'm all for a good reclamation project like Cuadrado or Khedira but these Destros and Ranocchias are just mediocre and that is unlikely to change. And I think the haters were vindicated on Hernanes.
