Sarri plays a brand of football with a pure top scorer type in front of goal. CR7 will not play a winger proving assists to Higuain. There is no place for Higauin nor Dybala with Sarri IMO. Sarri will put CR7 at #9 CF and have wingers provide assists. We need D. Costa, Bernardeschi, Chiesa etc

Should Sarri be the one to arrive I think our team will look more like this:

I can definitely see Sarri going for Icardi as his new Higuain while using Ronaldo as the super winger
Ramsey might be a starter for some games but he will get injured from time to time allowing Bentancur and Matuidi some space
Pogba is for A.Sandro+Dybala
Heysaj is Cancelo and we get around 20M as difference
Higuain will be loaned again

Sarri might love Higuain but he is not stupid he knows he isnt the same Higuain he had a few years ago..​

I still think this, and with Sarri looking like our coach, I think it more.

Only signing needed is Ndombele (is it probable?) or another good mid. I think Bentancur might come good in such a setup so he can play for Ramsey when he inevitable gets injured, or for the others as well.

After such a heavy summer last year I think we'll have little funds. Sell Higuain (30?), Cuadrado (15?), Khedira, Barzagli and caceres (free), Perin (20?).

Sign Mirante, Ndombele(?), Ramsey, Romero, maybe Rabiot for free. Seems possible and then any big moves would need an extra significant sale.

Likely less of an admirer now. He has eyes and isn't blind. I'm sure he's aware of Bonucci from past two seasons. Showed zero interest when asked about him last summer compared to before.

Or bc he has a functioning brain.

Back then many fans considered Bonucci top 3 CB too and most rated him higher than Chiellini. Now they don't.

Normal guess is Pep isn't that aloof. You've to be a plank to prefer Bonucci over Chiellini now.

Agreed. And I don't understand all the fuss about Icardi and Higuain return either. Why? Sarriball has a prima punta striker who will score 30+ goals a season. This player can be no other than Ronaldo. He will need providers: wings. With Sarri here, Ronaldo will not play a left wing role with Icardi og Higuain the prima punta. Ronaldo will not win 1-1 duels on the side only to cross for Icardi or Higuain. Out with Mandzu, Dybala, Higuain and NO Icardi. Ronaldo is our prima punta and Kean will rotate in.
