moggi wants to have one of those big- money- transfers... If he sells Buffon, then he'll probably be more than willing to buy a few young and talented players.. (the same thing happened when Zidane left)....

In my opinion, Moggi missed out a big money transfer when he had the chance to sell Nedved to Chelsea for heeps of money, but he didnt (and Neddy was 31 at that time!!), although i think it was nedved who didnt want to leave.

Buffon + Cash >>>>>> Gilardino.

Mark this shit! :eyebrows:
Buffon + Cash >>>>>> Gilardino.
=> Buffon >>>>>> Gilardino - Cash
How much cash? If you had to add €50million to Buffon to make him much better than Gillardino, does that mean that Buffon's effectively worthless?

Double negative mate..

you want to say either "I wouldn't trade Buffon for anyone"

or "I would trade Buffon for no-one"

:eyebrows:
It is a double negative, certainly, but "I would trade Buffon for no one" (Note: no hyphon) would suggest that Buffon is again worthless.

I would have thought that Juve fans held Buffon in more regard, that Buffon >>>>>> Gilardino + Cash, and that you would not trade him for anyone, but once again, Juve fans attack their own players. Throw in the crap Zlatan, Del Piero, Vieira, Capello and Camo all get, and it's a wonder the team even bothers walking out of the tunnel.

Who the fuck is Pat Rice and how would he know such a thing? BS
Pat Rice is Arsenal's assistant manager, and, at a guess, he's an old friend of a certain Mr P. Vieira, or at least in contact with the likes of Henry and Pires, who undoubtedly are.

I knew he was Arsenal's assistant. Moggi is not known to show his cards, not even to his wife so I don't think he'd tell Vieira and or even Buffon himslef.

Umm..

I'm no Arsenal fan but..

Pat Rice was an excellent footballer, and he captained Arsenal at one time, and he won lots of trophies with them. Has hundreds of appearances.

He's a huge name in football.
