IT'S OVER: BRITNEY'S MARRIAGE ANNULLED
January 5, 2004
ET has obtained the annulment papers that end the very short marriage of BRITNEY SPEARS and JASON ALLEN ALEXANDER. According to the court document, "Spears lacked the understanding of her actions to the extent of agreeing to the marriage, because before entering into the marriage, the plaintiff and defendant did not know each other's likes and dislikes, each other's desires to have or not have children, and each other's desires as to the state of residency. Upon learning of each other's desires, they are so incompatible that there was a want of understanding of each other's action in entering into this marriage. Additionally, pursuant to NRS 125.350, there was no meeting of the minds in entering into this marriage contract, and in a court of equity, there is cause for declaring the contract void."
