What did you think of it?

I can see why American kids hate it, being part of school program ruins a book. But having read it a while ago I loved it

I did not like it. I mean, it was decent, but decent at best. I couldn't really digest it and I don't find such style fitting. Same with Bukowski.

When it comes to Americans (so far) I can only cope with Lovecraft and Poe.

IIRC even in the past they were some comments about it and some said how orcs represent black people so they were furious about it. Still, what a shit thing to say
