What did you think of it?

I can see why American kids hate it, being part of school program ruins a book. But having read it a while ago I loved it
I did not like it. I mean, it was decent, but decent at best. I couldn't really digest it and I don't find such style fitting. Same with Bukowski.

When it comes to Americans (so far) I can only cope with Lovecraft and Poe.

And some said orcs represent soviets, or mongols, or badass etc. Even smart people say stupid shit sometimes, not even talking about idiots. Tolkien himself said that he had no race/country/religion in mind designing orcs. I wouldn't be surprised if he lied though.

Finished The Buried Giant from Kazuo Ishiguro

I wish the main motive was explored more, examined rather than just presented and sidelined mostly.

Great, with stoicism you will also learn to cope with Juventus failures

And what dying is—andthat if you look at it in the abstract and break down your imaginary ideas of it by logical analysis, you realize that it’snothing but a process of nature, which only children can be afraid of.
