So far i can see that the old testament is more straight forward and has more attention to detail than the Quran but the Language of the Quran and its art is more appealing, poetic, creative and have a stronger impact on the reader.

I am reading both in Arabic and bare in mind that i am an ex-muslim that have read the Quran thoroughly many many times.

what do you mean? Its my first time reading it so be specific. :luckyluke:
I mean every 50 pages or so, god gets really upset because he isnt the centre of attention and destroys the world. Usually choosing two people who have been punished in horrible ways and still believe in him.

Something you may notice in the bible is that in leviticus its where the laws are layed out and it says that one man cant lay with another man which fundamentalist christians/everyday christians take on board. But leviticus also sets out the kosher laws, but how many christians can you think of that are kosher? Christians are fucking hypocrites, end of.

So far I have read up to the 10 commandments... I'll take what you said into considerations. And God seemed to have raped Egyptians

 i was just telling someone about how he raped Egypt.
God intentionally makes pharaoh not believe after every show of Power (with the flies and the worms and that stuff) and the innocent Egyptian bystanders get fucked in the process. All because God wants to make an example out of pharaoh for his book.

As a pole, or appriciate good fantasy books in general, you should seriously read the Witcher Martin. Fascinating read.

And read the first two Potter books ages ago (first due to school), and not worth reading more then that for me. Too generic in picking tons of stuff from that genre and simplifying it to the extreme.

I don't like fantasy, dude. But sometimes you gotta settle for what you can get.

EDIT: Er, that was about books. Wasn't meant to be a lesson on life, kids, you can be whatever you want to be!
