The Namesake of Jhumpa Lahiri. I had already read Interpreter of Maladies. It was a short story collection but The Namesake was a novel, and a great one. I'm really interested to watch the movie too.

I didn't find it great. It was a decent watch. I found the acting top notch though. Irfan Khan and Tabu are probably up there with the best this country has to offer. Maybe the movie didn't do the book any justice, like it happens most of the time...
