You must have seen Trabelsi more than me so I can't judge him. The thing is that we all know that the problem is not at RB so it's not a priority.
Right, that is true, the central part of the defence is the problem. But if Thuram is sold, and we do not find a replacement, we will be stuck with Birindelli there all season, and that is not a good idea. Birindelli is not the player we can rely on to fill the RB slot all season.

Birindelli is an excellent squad player, and a fantastic back-up imo, but I agree with the people who are saying that he isn't good enough to be our first choice right back. If Thuram gets injured I'm more than comfortable when Biri takes his place, but I'd rather get Trabelsi as a starter and let Birindelli continue doing what he's doing from the bench than start Biri and get say Oddo as a sub for him.

I think that Biri is better defensively than Trabelsi and Oddo but I wouldn't mind having one of them.
I dunno about that mate, but everyone has their own opinion.

I think Biri's a perfect substitute player, he's a decent defender, doesn't make howling mistakes and doesn't complain about being on the bench. I like the guy but personally I don't think he's good enough to be our starting RB

IF and IF Thuram is sold that's another story. Of course we will need to buy a RB.

If we all agreed it would be boring. :D

He can play very well as a LB too. Remember aginst Madrid last year. He marked Figo and he didn't do zilch.

Let's say that he's a very very good backup that could replace the starting RB if injured. ;)

So we all agree that Birindelli will take the role as luxury backup, a role that Pessotto played well for many years with us but can't do it anymore.

Acually I think Pessotto can develop into a world class player. He's only young and has at least 4 seasons of world class football left in him.

Thuram can't be sold, Biri is our only backup. The others are unreliable. If we get a new RB and he's injured Thuram would do well to cover. should both the new player and thuram can't play then we call in Biri. Too risky to sell Thuram now IMO

What I would like to know from you guys is this:

Would you prefer Bonera or Oddo?
Not too sure. I guess I would take Bonera because he is younger and has potential, but Oddo would add more to the team right away.
