:thumb: I consider PVH to be the greatest free kick taker in the world

See that's the thing though, he's a forward, so it's great that he can take good free kicks. But we all know what can easily happen when defensive players fail in their free kicks *ahem* Chilavert :D
True, but the goalkeeper position can't be covered when taking a freekick, a defender's position can be.

Okay Chila was a bad example, but we can still get caught out if this guy keeps trying to score from all our free kicks. I agree that his shots are great, but I'd still take Evra over him 12 times out of 10.

btw 1000 posts comin up ;)

Haha I know what you meant ;): It's risky.

Evra is obviously the much better choise, but i don't think Parisi is very expensive. I beleive Parisi'll come very cheap even and I do think he is better than for example Pessotto.

Evra is not great defensively from the matches I have seen. Zambrotta is better that him. Maybe he can improve.

Bonera...I dont think he is that great. Ferrari must come, because Angeli's own FIAT who own Ferrari. It just has to happen :D

There was nothing wrong with Evra's defending from what I've seen. Zambro isn't even a defender and he gets caught out sometimes

This is bad news.... I've been agreeing too much with you lately :stress: ;) What's the update on Parisi? We've been linked to him for quite sometime, no? But it's sort of died down

Yeah, Pierre is the best...

And yeah, Chilavert left the goal open a few times, but as many goals as were scored against him that way, he scored more by taking free kicks on the run straight from goal. I'd love to see Sebastien Saja continue that tradition at Brescia, but I doubt that kind of thing would ever fly in Italy.

Bonera is better at central defense, but do you really think that Biri is good enough to be our starting right back? I like Biri, but I don't think that he's good enough...

I have to agree with Ian, again. Biri is only a backup IMO, and he should stay that way. There are better, younger players available to bring in, like Oddo or Trabelsi. The latter is probably a class better defensevly than Oddo, but Oddo would add more to the attack.

I think that Biri is better defensively than Trabelsi and Oddo but I wouldn't mind having one of them.
Biri would not be a better defender on a regular basis. Trabelsi has more quickness, and has more bite in the tackle.

You must have seen Trabelsi more than me so I can't judge him. From what I saw and heard is that he's a Thuram with better offensive skills and less defensive qualities but the thing is that we all know that the problem is not at RB so it's not a priority.
