thats it, after reading that artical, it clearly tells us thta he wants Milan, thus he can go to milan, because yes they are all meant to be pro's but surely if u want to play for your boyhood team, you would take the chance to play for them....

Bonera no.

Ferrari and Gilardino deal would be better.

Anyway, Ferrari and Bonera are not exactly on the best form in the world are they.

I'd say that getting Ferrari would be a good thing to do. I personally don't like him, and I'm not sure that he's the answer to our defensive problems, but he'll surely help and he could be bought for relatively little considering Parma's financial issues and their recent defeat in the UEFA Cup. I think that buying anyone else from Parma would be a bit superfluous...

We need to get rid of our old defense and bring in the young, new generation defense to fix our problem.

Old: Thuram-Ferrara-Montero-Pessoto
New: Trabelsi-Mexes-Ferrari-Zambrotta

Backup: Legrottaglie, Tudor
! i like the new line.. hope moggi see's this...! ;)
! i think we should sell tudor and buy rodriguez..

We should get Oddo, Bonera and either Ferrari/Squillaci/Mexes. Than our defense should be fixed.
I like that one, for example-->
Oddo---Thuram---Ferrari---Zambrotta

Bonera---Ferrara---Legrottaglie---Birindelli

+ Pessotto

That should do the job, and would also come cheap!

bonera would only be back up one would think. And let that back up be for centre back where IMO his position is.

i think only ferrari and gilardino is needed from parma. mexes, trabelsi and rodriguez to finish off our defence. it will be hard to get such players to the club due to financial issues, but its a must.

Good back-line poku, as there are just 2 new players.
I have to tell you that I would prefer Parisi. Jankulovski would come expensive, so it would make no sense to buy him as a sub. Plus, Jank is very simular to Zambrotta, when he plays left-back. Very attacking!
Parisi is attacking, but is defensivly better than Jank and Zambo, I believe!

My idea is that Jank would play as left-back, so Zambo could play as RM... Yes, that's sounds pretty risky (3 new guys in the back), but I'm pessimistic, I can't see us bringing trophies in next season, I'm already concentrating on the season after next season... :D I can't wait to see Parisi, you raised my hopes REALLY high...

The last thing we need at the moment is to risk our necks with a Serie B defender whose forte is scoring goals.

Very true.

It's a very great/usefull weapon though; Ala Van Hooijdonk.

:thumb: I consider PVH to be the greatest free kick taker in the world

See that's the thing though, he's a forward, so it's great that he can take good free kicks. But we all know what can easily happen when defensive players fail in their free kicks *ahem* Chilavert :D
