Like what specific laws? Ofc i don't know but from what was said on some of these it looks like they knew they were doing something that need to be kept secret
Yes, like business strategy. That is always a secret but it is not illicit to have one.

Dude this would be great news. If at the end of the day, nothing sticks and we end up without penalties and with better management this would be the dream. Literally better than if none of this have happened at all. They'd have did us a favor

The pessimist in me is still wary. The text messages and wiretaps don't look good.

Sporting courts are more easy to manipulate/be corrupt. Thats why only Juve got a serious punishment and Milan got a petty one while Inter were freaking rewarded, despite all three (+ Roma too iirc) having shady dealings with designators. Criminal courts for financial crimes is larger/separate than football.

If a bunch of publicly traded clubs were found to be cooking the books they'll probably be charged. This furore isnt about plusvalenza afaik btw its about the under the table salary payments
Nothing on those wiretaps is incriminating. Media ran anti-Juve campaign and kept throwing everything at us trying to influence the public. Going by your post they succeeded.

And when nothing happens, it's just Rube paying the judges. There is no winning with those people in italy.

It is a storm in a glass of water. Agnelli most likely was bound to leave and the media declared a witchhunt. I don’t believe that our board is under a continuous wiretap for years.

They took the club from a well run, financially stable firm to Barc-lvl debt and a competitive joke in Europe. None of that was a secret ser

He had to leave because of the bad decision making. From a club that would break even, that were competitive in Europe, he ran us into the ground and cost his family literally billion of Euros. There is no way any management, as incompetent as ours have been over the last 4 years, would be allowed to stay.

“It wasn’t just COVID and we know that too well,” President Andrea Agnelli told CEO Arrivabene in a phone call recorded on September 3, 2022.

“After all, we clogged up the machine with amortization and above all the s***… because it’s all the s*** that’s under there we cannot talk about.”

At this point, Arrivabene replied referencing the recent push to raise fresh capital.

“Calculating it all properly, we needed to increase capital by €650m, not €400m, to get it back on track.”

Former financial director Marco Re also mocked the idea that the COVID crisis was the entire cause of Juve’s economic downturn.

“With the fairy tale that COVID gobbled up €340m, anyone’s nose would grow like Pinocchio.”

That doesn't seem as just business strategy. In any case I am keeping expectations low but will hope it doesn't result into any penalties. Time will tell there is no point in trying to make a strong determination when there's a long way to go

If we’re really that broke, why did we prefer signing Vlahovic for really a lot of money over a more affordable option.

The convo is more about realizing they made bad decisions, not illegal but bad and they have to cover their asses to keep the job.

Basically, what I’ve been posting in the AA thread for the past few months.

None of this is incriminating. They are merely saying we need to make sales.
