just to clarify: at the end of last year, the prosecutor wanted to have agnelli & co under house arrest and as a preventive measure, a seizure of ~400k euros for taxation reasons. both requests were denied by the judge, so the prosecutor appealed. the hearing was scheduled for next wednesday, but the prosecutor dropped the appeal.

it doesn't mean that the whole process is finished and our former directors are clear, it just means that the prosecutor has given up on putting them under house arrest. it's a small victory, but still a victory.
Any idea if there will be any sporting trial?

The FIF thread on Serie A is going to be so salty. They already had us in Serie B and out of CL for the next three years minimum. And it was so clear and obvious to them.

Fucking clowns.

So we safe?

Can we proceed with football matters now? Bring Zidane, sell Rabiot and McKennie, return Rovella, make Fagioli captain, let's go!
Not entirely but it's a good step forward. Probably far less likely anything major occurs now that this step has been taken. But the UEFA reaction to our finances is probably the wider angle and its hard to judge how UEFA responds, knowing they already hate us. HOWEVER, knowing that the main instigator of the Super League has been replaced I could see UEFA trying to make peace with our ownership/leadership at large and coming down very soft or not at all on us as a show of good faith to drop the Super League idea completely and for the foreseeable future.

I have no doubt it is all being negotiated.
