Yea so I'm reading we have not withdrawn and A22 are threatening to take legal action against UEFA for the abuse, threats and coercion of Juventus.

Forget the super league. It was the brain child of stupid billionaires, perhaps with proper planning it would have taken off but the way they launched it was so disastrous that there is no way back. Let’s just move on from the Andrea Agnelli fiasco

I'm happy. I never wanted SL. It was destined to die anyway unless proposed by UEFA.
Europe however, need to swipe the entire management (including middle management) of UEFA. Use it as an example and then push FIFA toward the same destiny. Corruption has gone so off the tracks it is unreasonable. The organization will fall apart completely unless it's cleansed.

superleague started with like 20-something clubs, it's a bit of a stretch to hold agnelli the sole responsible for the terrible communication surrounding it

THEY messed it up, all of them. agnelli is guilty of a lot of things, superleague is one of them. he should have known better. but pretending that it's just his fault, dunno man
His comical resignation from ECA before the announcement as if he was leading a massive coup made sure he was going to be known as the leader of that ill advised move.

he resigned after the announcement

anyway, he was the easiest target of the 3 remaining sl presidents as ceferin bought gravina's loyalty by making him uefa exec board member and later vice president too, and the italian system is corrupt enough for a kompromat based process

agnelli isn't blameless, but this vendetta is beyond ridiculous. make a team lose half a billion cause ceferin feels offended? even when agnelli is clearly a nobody in european football? fucking hell

I thought the fact he ignored Ceferin's calls and eventually switched his phone off was funny
Yeah very funny, tragic in hindsight

It’s not because Ceferin felt offended. It was because he thought he’s going to lose his monopoly which would’ve been disastrous for his organization. When you go for the king your better not miss, and USL folks missed quite comically.
Before or after, Agnelli was the face of that project because of his ECA role and close relationship with UEFA. What’s happening to Juve is unjust but the world is not a happy place.

Sadly we all know in reality that the Children of Billionaires are rarely held accountable for anything. Never having to work a day in their lives. No consequences bc they have family money to fix all issues and obstacles
Kendall Roy look like a wizard comparing to this bozo.

This got me thinking though... Why is there no antitrust law against sports organizations that run business? After all, what they're doing today is not different from consumer goods corporations... So with that view, FIFA, FIA etc are running monopolistic business with the ability to abuse everyone... Why is that tolerated?

imagine that there is a very powerful guy, who dislikes u totally and wants to do anything to fuck u over. Then u decide to suck his dick in order to comfort him and gain his sympathy - it will always work on your advantage, but was it worthy?
