so funny that they are even accusing us for the Locatelli deal because there's too many installments and bonuses easy to reach.

like, WTF?

So far, 2006 History is repeating itself in terms of the order of the events.

While this time, I can't even relate this shit to a sporting advantage, and if authorities look closely, they might find that all clubs, in Italy and abroad are doing the same exact shit.

Agree I don’t see how this would translate to direct sporting advantages. Ofc more money means we can afford higher salaries for players and coach but we haven’t won shit in two years and so maybe that’ll play in our favour.

If we were dominating as we used to then the target on our backs would be much bigger. The need to make an example of Juve is reduced. Plus they can levy fines, transfer bans and even points deduction all of which would deal a great deal of damage on top of reputational damage.

Relegation is the nuclear option I don’t think they’d do that especially as it drags all Serie A down. 2006 we were a star studded dominant team and even Milan got away with just financial penalties and point’s deduction. Back then the accusation was way more serious too.

I don’t think we’ll get relegated. My bet is on financial penalties, and a transfer ban. And criminal prosecutions of some individuals if there’s sufficient evidence against them

Any ideas when this will be resolved? Or a realistic outcome? Keep hearing all different opinions but seems nobody has a clue where this is heading... been following juve for 30 years the 2006 debacle was tough to digest not sure I can deal starting in serie b or worse again :vdp::panic:

Question for my fellow posters in the Stock Market thread:

For a moment, pretend you are not a Juventus fan. Pretend you support, I don't know, Molde FK. And also assume for a moment that the allegations are true: Juve directors played games with salaries and plusvalenza and player valuations in a way that caused annual and quarterly reports for Exor and Juventus to need to be restated and the auditors to withdraw their opinions.

Now assume you are also a shareholder, purely for the purposes of growing your wealth, of Exor or Juve:BIT (lol why, but just assume)

How do you feel about the board's actions?

Never got a notification, but to put it lightly not too great.

Well, if you're holding a massive amount of Juventus shares to grow your wealth, as opposed to having them for fun, then you are probably an idiot. ;)

If I was holding Exor shares and found out the allegations were true, I would definitely rethink my position. You'd have to wonder what other morons were appointed to other positions in their businesses that might be screwing around with the books. All it takes is one bad apple to bring down a company.

I have a stupid question:

How did we even pay the players under the table ? I mean with a 250 mil loss you can’t just use 60 mil in your accounts and pay them without gettin unnoticed. So who provided the funds to pay them ? Where they paid from „secret“ accounts ?

They'll see that Allegri has been appointed as super manager and will feel sorry for us and drop all charges. They cant punish us more than we can punish ourselves.

Bitcoins, Ser

it's a pyramid scheme 'money' designed for criminal activities such as money-laundering, darknet drugs and pedophilia. I only trust verified JP Morgan businessmen with MY money

That’s not a stupid question. It’s THE question. If we have done that then we are completely stupid, but I suspect we’ve reported what we’ve paid the players but under a different measure in the books. We’ve said multiple times what we have done follows accounting rules, but it seems we may have mislead the markets by doing this.

the transfer stuff is pointless, impossible to prove values, not worried about that. The salaries are definitely the issue we need an answer to

So the Kulu deal included a "gentleman agreement" and now this should not happen?

How do clubs/companies declare gentleman agreements?

this is supposed to be that secret agreement. this sheet.

@Dru look at this. it's either a fake (like romeo suggests) or these are amateurs earning millions for being amateurs

what's the most worrying is that the press starts to know everything. they are conditioning the public opinion.

and the most unlikely guy to the rescue:

"now everyone shits on juve but this is a company that contributed to the sustainability of our world. many used to eat at the same table, juve can't be the root of everything bad in calcio. i saw agnelli at the senate and i gave him a hug"

wtf  so many bullshit from everyone, it's impossible to follow.

It would be criminal if the company didn’t pay taxes on the salaries and immediate jail time. That doesn’t seem to be the case; but somehow this is ‘under the table’. The issue is that of accounting presentation and ir communication. The auditors of big 4 didn’t think much of it and I wonder which of the shareholders is concerned. Ridiculous how much attention this is getting.
