Every step of the way she asks: "do you understand what I am saying? Has your counsel clarified this? Has your counsel clarified the legal implications?". It's all very well structured too.

Don't get me wrong, judges are faced with such formalities in Belgium too, but they are not repeated as much during the actual trial.

That doesn't happen much at trial. By the time the case gets to trial the assumption is that the defendent understands and counsel has advised him or her. There are usually a lot of pre-trial hearings that happen, where that shit is sorted.

Oh and this is a transcript of a hearing not a trial. And a hearing in which Blazer is making incriminating statements.

Man, I can't stand Australia. I sure as hell wouldn't want to have it there. But it does make sense, because a lot of the infrastructure is already there and Australia has the money to fund it. Relevancy in the football world is only important insofar as there are actual football fans. That's definitely the case in Australia.

Also, the World Cup was organised on African soil in 2010. It's far more likely to be organised in Oceania in the near future.
I have no doubt that Australia could host an awesome WC. No wonder they got only 1 vote. :shifty:

Really? That's your comeback? At a time where we know these World Cups were essentially bought? Wow.
Unlike you, I'm not sarcastic 100% of the time. I was serious in the first sentence, sarcastic in the second -- not the other way around.

I was really impressed at the cricket WC Australia and New Zealand recently hosted. Other than it being super expensive to travel down under I'm sure they'd host an awesome wc as you said.

If you get it, and they get it, I expect tickets.
No, seriously. I have been holding out on my job search for a company as interesting and solid as these guys, and it's the icing on the cake that the operating family is hugely behind football in Australia.

So yeah, I'll add you to the list if so. Gooooool! ;)
