Nothing wrong with blaise applauding his former teammates goal. He's clearly happy for him but most of all for psg.

Very unusual for Allegri to play him when he barely trained with the team for a day. I suspect it tells you a lot about Allegri's intentions. He will be a starter.

There's a good chance he could be a starter, but Douglas Costa will also probably be starting shortly.

I think it probably says more about the experience, conditioning, and footballing IQ of Matuidi. He's somebody that Allegri knows he can immediately trust to follow directions, and get the job done.

Love that video above, and all the kind words from the club. Definitely have acquired a well loved guy in the locker room, and a true professional. Certainly bodes well for us!

Well he was also their captain.

Good debut. His passing was pretty solid. Tidy and no bull$hit. I like that.

This transfer makes sense. Pjanic is our lock- picker. He can open any Chest.

But we need him to focus on doing just that, and i think Matuidi can become a Potential masterstroke, not ONLY because he frees up our creative minds but also because of our Potential rotations, that can catch The enemy by surprise.

We shall see, however this looks very positive.
I wonder what language did Allegri communicate with him, cause he only arrived. He cant be fluent in italian.

Actually this popped into my head right after I posted

He can still probably say good luck. It'll take a minute but he can say it
Thats all you need to say? This isnt England with "Hey you Matuidi, go and just hoof a long ball and just run, run Forrest Matuidi, run.
