One of PSG's mottos is to "keep their best players at all cost" even against theur will (see verratti). And yes, there are players like Matuidi who would have liked to be told as such (I'm not making this up, it was in Le Parisien 3 months ago when PSG offered him a second contract extension but still said to him that he can leave too no problem).
We are been manipulated by transfer agents systematically. It's obvious on transfers like Rincon.
