It's the pressure that was applied by Lazio that fucked us, Our CB can't make a simple pass, Pjanic was marked out and Khedira is Khedira idk why he was playing. If it's a matter of athleticism just play Sturaro. I know that Matuidi is an upgrade but he is not the player we need especially in a 2 man MF.

Hopefully Allegri will grow some balls and start playiing Pjanic-Marchisio, that's the ideal pair in the MF looking at the players we have.

It's not like every team has a Bonucci to play their way out of a hard press. You find different ways to do it. Having a winger who can hold onto the ball would be a start. The team have to play better in general, quicker and sharper passing.

I believe signing a DM was a mistake, as what we lacked the most is a CAM, but maybe this acquisition means that some other player we already have will play that role. 20mil is a fair price, I won't complain for that!

It'll take time for us to adapt to not having the deeper weapon but I think you'll see Pjanic playing some from a deeper role, and we'll be more incisive and creative on the wings with Bernardeschi and Douglas Costa.
